I am a huge believer in a hand cream, and I always have one in my handbag, always. It is a necessity in colder months to protect the skin, to moisturise and nourish it. Also, we all know – the way your hands look can give away your age. And I personally can’t stand dried out skin. Applying hand cream is a pure relaxing little luxury, especially when

My Top 5 Hand Creams

Regular readers will probably know that  a good hand cream is a must have for me. If I could have only one beauty product with  me in my bag, that’d be it (and a lip balm, if I can have two).

I have very dry skin, especially on the hands, and I love to re-apply the cream whenever I need to do it or feel like doing it.

This is why I’ve decided to share my personal top 5 hand creams. Unfortunately, most of them are not cheap but I,  personally, am ready to pay for the quality.

It is probably my favourite hand cream ever, it instantly makes the skin feel moisturized and smooth, such a relief, especially in the cold(er) months. Plus I could totally tell that my nails were in much better condition when I was using it.

It’s easier to tell what  is not inside my handbag… Among others things, I always have a hand cream with me.  This is why small sized hand creams are always welcomed.

Rose Hand Cream has a scent of Grasse rose, the Bulgarian rose, the Moroccan rose and the Turkish rose which I absolutely love. The cream itself is light but pretty moisturizing.

As for Shea Butter Hand Cream, it is

Makeup4all Recommends: The Body Shop Hemp Hand Protector

Regular readers know that I am a die hard hand cream fan, and always have a few to choose from. And today I want to share about the cult product in this category. The Body Shop Hemp Hand Protector is loved by so many, and it is for a reason, this stuff does work.

I have very dry hands so I do not find it sticky or greasy at all, it just leaves my hands in top condition: moisturised and nourished.  It’s like an instant relief for the dry skin, you put it on, and your hands are  soft and smooth. Yes, just like that!  The second ingredient on the list is glycerin, and my skin loves it, not to mention all the oils.

It has a

Hand Cream Love: J.R. Watkins and Brooks & Waters

I am the biggest hand cream fan ever,  I have mentioned so many hand creams on the website already, and posted quite a few over at my Instagram, too.

So today I want to show you my two newest loves, both were gifts from my friends which is very sweet of them. One was brought to me from Canada, and the other one from the USA.

J.R. Watkins Shea Butter Hand Cream ( get  it from Amazon and Amazon UK)

I used this one mostly during the winter, as it is very nourishing and quite thick formula-wise (check out all the butters and oils in the ingredients list).   I honestly think this is one of the
