AW18 Highlighters Guide

Who does not want a beautiful and gorgeous highlighter for the holidays season? The next few months will be mental for me in every area of life so I am really looking forward to the holidays, and the glow.

I’ve created a list of some of the highlighters that are on sale now, all of these are limited edition so don’t miss your chance to get them.

Beautiful glow and lots of little starts embossed.

Givenchy Mystic Glow Powder, $47 from Barneys

Ultra-fine mother-of-pearl with golden nuances.   Can be used both wet and dry. And how cool is that star? I am still a big fan of the Givenchy highlighter I’ve got a few years ago.

YSL FACE HIGHLIGHTER, $42 Barneys, Neiman MarcusBergdorf GoodmanHarrods, Selfridges and Nordstrom.

A cream in stick highlighter with two shades which is easy and quick to use.

It comes in a a 50’s French-inspired Bijou box – traditionally meant to house loose powders. Can be used dry for a subtle highlight, or  damp for more intense illumination.

GUERLAIN Météorites Electric Pearl Light-Revealing Powder,£44  from Selfridges and $65 from Sephora

Guelian’s meteorites need no introduction. Gold and copper pearls counter a dull complexion while champagne and white pearls reflect the light and illuminate the face.

Two best selling shades from the brand, pink-ish and bronzy, they both look dreamy in the pan.

Laura Mercier  Stardust Radiant Glow Palette,  from Saks

This year the brand offers a few highlighter palettes, and I like this one the best, it looks like a marble uber cool.

NARS High Voltage Highlighting Palette, $42 from Barneys

Let’s appreciate the red spiky packaging first, shall we? The shades are: 1977 (opalescent pink), Fort De France (peach champagne) andQueen (rose copper)

CHARLOTTE TILBURY Bar Of Gold Highlighting Palette £49 from Selfridges and $58  from Sephora

You can’t go wrong with the product from the Queen of glow CT: original Bar of Gold, soft pink-tinted rose gold, and deep shimmer bronze-gold.

HOURGLASS Ambient Lighting Edit – Volume 4, £69 from Cult Beauty,£56 from Net a Porter,$80 from Sephora and Barneys

One of the most coveted palettes this year comes in a pink packaging. Not really my style but I bet a lot of women love it. Available in Dim Light (peach beige)/Diffused Light (pale yellow)/Euphoric Strobe Light (pearlescent beige)/Filtered Bronze Light (warm bronze)/Luminous Glow (bright coral)/Euphoric Fusion (soft lilac).

Personal Favourite

Marc Jacobs o!mega glaze all-over foil luminizer, £35 from Net a Porter and $49 from Sephora

My personal favourite has to be this one. I love that huge golden packaging.  And if I had to get one for myself – this would be it. The micro-fine, jet-milled powder applies seamlessly and promised to create that get-noticed glow without glitter. The warm, peachy gold highlighter is perfectly sized for both face and all-over body.  Yes!

There are a lot of other different options. So make sure you get the one that calls out your name, and glow.
