BECCA Compact Concealer in Latte Review and Swatches

I am actually surprised that I haven’t written about BECCA’s Compact Concealer before as it is a must-have for me.

There are 34 colours so everyone can choose the right shade, mine is called Latte and it’s a great match, although it was made on-line!

It comes in a signature BECCA packaging and inside you get a medium and high cover concealers which is very clever actually.

This concealer gives the most amazing coverage, it covers all the red spots, scars and under-eye circles and at the same time it blends into the skin. You can’t see it (if you’ve got the right shade of course). This is genius! High coverage  and creamy blendable texture, exactly what a girl needs!

This product contains anti-oxidants vitamins C and E and is free of chemical preservatives and parabens.

Here are the swatches of Latte.

And finally some tips from BECCA on how you can use this concealer:

  •  Use the medium-cover version for broad coverage, including the under-eye area (apply as sheer a layer as possible here, as any makeup under the eyes tends to accentuate smile lines).
  • Use the extra-cover version for spots and blemishes that require heavy-duty coverage, as this formulation is more opaque and has a heavier, slightly drier consistency.
  • Target concealer to the required area by using a brush, then gently press into the skin using the fingertip in a rolling motion (use as little as possible and re-apply if heavier, additional coverage is required).
  • Always set with Fine Loose Finishing Powder to ensure concealer locks onto the skin for an all-day finish.

I would totally recommend the Compact Concealer. Now I need to try BECCA’s Tinted Moisturizer. I actually can’t believe that I did not get it yet.

The price is £30/€42/$38 but I think it is really worth it!

Available from Sephora and Space NK.
