For Spring 2013 Guerlain offers a brand new mascara, new limited edition of meteories, two eye shadow palettes, eye liner and six lip products.
Although I am not the biggest fan of pink colour (I adore pink lip products though), I really love all the promo photos with the pink background, very stylish and fresh.
Here is a promo with Natalia Vodianova and I am loving the lip colour she is wearing.
Here are all the details you need to know about the new mascara:
Cils d’Enfer – Maxi Lash (£22 / €31)
Volume Creating – Curl Sculpting Mascara in 01 Noir 02 Violet
Brand new volumising mascara from the brand comes which in a compact size which should make it easy to take it with you.
The secret of this brush is all in the three polymers. “The first one wraps the lashes in extremely adherent oils, coating and thickening the lashes. The second one, made with supple waxes, acts like a conditioner, softening the lashes so you can sculpt them into just the right shape and style. The last one forms a thin film, coating the lashes to trap the wax and set the amazing curve.”
This mascara also has an innovative brush which is described the following way:” full, round brush caresses each lash to thicken and lengthen at will. The volumising effect is accentuated by the new generation hollow fibres, capable of dispensing just the right amount of mascara with each stroke. Cleverly placed in a criss-cross pattern, they carefully separate the lashes and spread the rich formula without clumping.”
The Ecrin 4 Couleurs Collector’s Palette (£38 / €52)

- 502 Coup de Foudre, green, silvery patina, bronze-khaki, vibrant
Do you know why I am always waiting for the new collections? I hope to see the item that I want/need/MUST get for myself! I remember when I first saw YSL Fall 2010 makeup collection I instantly fell in love with the # 7 Bronze Gold Ombrés 5 Lumieres palette.
I was extremely happy when I got it. I should have written the review long time ago because it’s already time to talk about YSL 2010 fall collection. But it’s better late than never.
So what do I love so much about these shadows
Or should I say adore? 😉
- It’s a pure high-end item, everything about it is so elegant and luxury.
- I got these palette because of the colours, they are amazing!
Brown – beautiful golden brown shade
Yellow – shiny yellow
Highlighter – the most amazing shadows, shimmery golden shade ( I need a dupe)
Khaki – shimmery khaki shade
Eyeliner – matte brown shade, I use it for the bows sometime and also to line the eyes.
- I think these are quite unique shades for a high-end brands because there are not that many yellow shadows among luxury companies. I can think about shu uemura and Shiseido righ now.
- This palette is perfect for
It’s easier to tell what is not inside my handbag… Among others things, I always have a hand cream with me. This is why small sized hand creams are always welcomed.
I’ve picked two L’Occitane mini-sized hand creams the other day to carry them around with me. I’ve got a Rose Hand Cream because I love everything with a rose scent and a Shea Butter Hand Cream which is made for dry skin.
As for Shea Butter Hand Cream, it is
I’ve wanted to try L’Oréal Paris Color Riche Extraordinaire for some time but just couldn’t decide which shade one to get. That was until I saw 100 Mezzo Pink.
You know me, and my love for light milky pink shimmering lip products, they are my version of nude.
You can already tell that I am absolutely in love with the shade. But what about this product in general? I think it is absolutely amazing, everything about it! Well, to be honest, I am not a huge fan of the packaging but it is not that important.
I like the sponge applicator which is very convenient, and makes it very easy to use the lipstick.
As for the formula, intense shades are like liquid lipsticks, you get a full-on colour with a liquid texture and comfort of a gloss. My shade is like a
There is nothing that I love more, beauty wise, than reading a well-written perfume review. In my opinion, not that many people can talk beautifully about scents, and it’s a pleasure to find someone who can. For example, I really enjoy The Non Blonde.
I am personally a newbie in a perfumery world, and while, I can already guess what fragrance I may like, describing it is still a huge challenge. Lovely, doesn’t count, right? 😉
As I’ve already mentioned, at this point, I can tell more, or less, what I would and would not like, thanks to hours spent at different perfumery shops and the lovely sails assistants, who were helpful and friendly.
So today, I want to tell you about the scent that I would call my signature, and it’s actually my second bottle.
And it is
