Burberry Golden Light Makeup Collection for Christmas 2013

This season Burberry are offering a festive edition of their luxury makeup and fragrance line adorned in gold.

In fact, the collection is called Golden Light, and although I personally prefer silver,   I find this shade of gold to be very chic and beautiful.

Burberry English Rose Makeup Collection for Spring 2014

Here is one more Spring 2014 makeup collection with pink and rose shades, it is even called English Rose. Burberry’s new release is just beautiful.

One of my favourite eye shadow palettes is actually Burberry’s Pink Taupe (and I use the pink and brown mostly, not a fan of other two shades), so I am actually pretty excited for their pink eye palette. Unlike some pinks, this one should look flattering on.

There are two Complete Eye Palettes (£40)  Rose Pink, which I love, and Sage Green.

AW18 Hottest Makeup: Westman Atelier, Burberry and Hourglass

Like it or not, but most Autumn 2018 makeup collections are already available, even thought you may not have had your summer holiday yet.

And here are the new launches that stood out to me, and I have chosen something for the lips, eyes and face.

First of all, there is a new make-up artist’s makeup line on the block. This time Gucci Westman finally revealed her long awaited collection. Apparently,  the procuts not only work as makeup but also should improve the skin.

I love the chic and modern look of the packaging, and would love to try the liquid blushes myself. So far the line is available from Barney’s ,and I would not mind trying the Baby Cheeks Blush Stick, $50.

  • Organic jojoba oil: tones and restores skin.
  • China clay: absorbs excess oil.
  • Berry flux vita: deeply moisturizes skin and preserves youthfulness.
  • Biomimicry technology: locks in hydration and guards against environmental impurities.
  • Biomimicry pigments: impart vibrant color to the skin.
  • Formulated without parabens, PEG, talc, phthalates, synthetic fragrances.

Sounds great, right?

Holiday Gift Guide: Luxury Highlighters

As promised, here is a new “Holiday Gift Guide” feature, and this time it is all about those luxuriuos highlighters. Because we have to glow for the festive season, am I right?

Probably the most desired highligher palette this season will be Hourglass’ Ambient Lighting Powder – Surreal Light, and there are also some gorgeous variants other Christmas collections, especially Lancome. But what other highlighters are worth your attention?

Burberry Gold Glow Pressed Powder, $68 from Saks

How beautiful is this gem with a LE, golden packaging. Gold Glow, a radiance-boosting pressed powder delicately scented with My Burberry.  Use the brush to highlight cheekbones, nose, shoulders and décolletage for a natural, radiant glow.

Trish McEvoy Light & Lift Face Color Duo, $68 from Nordstrom

I had to include Trish, as her face products are some of the best, I am a huge fan. Here is how this new release is described: “The soft, weightless powders glide on evenly and invisibly for a naturally lit-from-within look. Apply the champagne tone to areas you
