Fall Trend: Green Nail Polish

Looks like green nail polish is a big trend this Fall! Here are just some green nail polishes that I’ve chosen. I love Illamasqua Viridian (peacock green with metallic finish) and butter LONDON British Racing Green (dark, “hunter green” ) the best (which is obvious if you know me)!

SS15 Lipsticks: butter LONDON and Clinique

Besides  contouring and eye brow products almost every brand is brining out some kind of new lipstick this season. And it makes sense, as it it the easiest way to get into SS, beauty wise. I have already featured so many, but here are two newest offerings from butter LONDON and Clinique.

butter LONDON Boho Rock Nail Lacquer Collection for Spring 2014

Here is a preview of the beautiful butter LONDON nail polish  collection for Spring with nude, earthy and warm toned metallics to channel the boho chic, or boho rock, as the brand suggests.

Here is the promo image for some inspiration.

Goss, an opaque, rosy shimmer. An informal abbreviation for gossip reserved for the most talented of gossipmongers.

Trallop, an opaque, caramel crème. Risky business is the name of the game for this promiscuous lass

Keen, opaque, peach crème. Peachy…a fond exclamation that finds kinship with dandy, and swell.

butter LONDON Master Luxury Lotion Review and Photos

Ever since I wrote this post I wanted to get the Master hand lotion from butter LONDON. So I’ve finally got myself one as a holiday treat.

Let me remind you that it is described as “a unisex lotion for exceptionally soft skin. Black Tea scent – sophisticated, smoky – just what you are craving.”

And I can’t tell you enough how much I love it! Maybe I am so overwhelmed because I’ve wanted it for some time but palso because it’s a great product.

The design is to die for. I LOVE it, nice and elegant. It smells unbelievable,  I am love  the scent! But some people I know didn’t like it as they find it too strong so this obviously depends on your taste.

The price is £ 7/ $10 for 50 ml which is a reasonable price for such a luxury lotion.

But there is one

Pantone Colour of 2019: Living Coral

I will try not to start all the upcoming features with how it is hard to believe that it is almost 2019… But, seriously, where did 2018 go? It seems like only yesterday I was writing about the colour of the 2018, according to Pantone. It was Ultraviolet.

But they’ve announced the shade of 2019.  And it is 16-1546 Living Coral, described as “an animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge. Vibrant, yet mellow  [Living Coral] embraces us with warmth and nourishment to provide comfort and buoyancy in our continually shifting environment.”

I have a degree in culture studies so it is always interesting for me to read how Pantone interpret the social and cultural changes, and how that is reflected in a colour.  So here is the official statement:
