Winter 2020 Lifestyle Favourites

About time for me to write about my Winter 2020 favourites. If you want to check out my Autumn favourites, here they are.

So which products stood out to me beauty, style, books and shows wise?

Makeup

Let’s start with makeup, as there are just a few products in this category:

YSL Touche Eclat, £26 from John Lewis, Harrods, Selfridges and Nordstrom. Touch Eclat needs no introduction, I’ve lost my count on how many of these I’ve used up. It has that a light-reflective effect which makes you look fresher; the formula is not heavy or detectable on the skin.

Charlotte Tilbrury  Beauty Light Wand in Spotlight, £29 from Cult Beauty and Nordstrom.

This is such a brilliant highlighter, it is more on the glowing side  but without being over-the-top. Exactly the kind of product you would expect from Queen Tilbury.  It gives you that incredible polished look.

Rouge Bunny Rouge new Glassy Gloss (review and swatches)

I wore quite a few of the new RBR glosses, I wrote a detailed review about them. Can be worn sheer stain-like or opaque and glossy.  The one I chose for this feature is Berry Sorbet, a  creamy opaque berry pink. For me it’s “my lips but better” kind of shade.

Burberry Cat Lashes Mascara, £24 from Burberry

Soft and flexible brush allows you to layer and built up the effect. I find it to be giving great result, elongating the lashes, opening up the eye and lasting all day long (on me at least).

byTerry  Ligne Blackstar in So Black (review and swatches)

A long-time favourite. Intense, ultra black, long-lasting and

SS17 Blushes: Gucci, byTerry, ArtDeco and Benefit

Here is a preview of some really cool new blushers which were launched for SS17, and I have  chosen quite a good selection: middle-priced cushion blushes, luxury Gucci blush with a ladybug, and two kinds of palettes.

I am personally very interested in ArtDeco Cushion Blusher, €19.95 from Douglas, and will definitely be checking out the bronzy shade in person. These are promised to have a silky smooth texture and a soft shimmering effect. Without parabens, perfume and talc. The shades are: 2 – paradise parrot, 4 – tropican tucan  (not shown) and 6 – bamboo bronze.

Benefit Cosmetics Cheek Parade, $58 from Sephora

The brand is famous for their  cheek palettes, and this time the combo is: 0.17 oz/ 5 g GALifornia (sunny golden pink blush), 0.28 oz/ 8 g Hoola matte bronzer (matte natural bronzer),  0.28 oz/ 8 g Hoola lite matte bronzer (matte natural light bronzer),  0.17 oz/ 5 g Rockateur (rose gold blush),  0.25 oz/ 7 g Dandelion (brightening baby pink blush) and Mini Powder Brush.

Gucci Sheer Blushing Powder Ladybug Compact, LE ($53) from Saks

AW 2014 New Lip Products: byTerry, Lipstick Queen, Kevin Aucoin and butter LONDON

Judged by the amount of views of the last feature about the new AW 2014 lip products we all love a good lipstick or a gloss.  Considering  all the new innovative textures, gorgeous packaging and beautiful colours, it’s hard to resist.

This is why I’ve decided to introduce other new releases:

Lipstick Queen Silver Screen , £35/$50

Lipstick Queen Silver Screen all shades makeup4allNo one could describe this lipstick better than Poppy King, brand’s founder:

“This intensely rich but wet formula, inspired by the slinky ladies of the silver screen, is a ground-breaking, industry-first. Silver Screen is a homage to Hollywood sassiness, if this lipstick could walk it would sashay. My most vixen lipstick to date!”.

I seriously love the packaging, and the colour selection. Well done, Poppy!

The shades are:  Come Up, The chic, vibrant baby rose.  Have Paris, The iconic scarlet red.  Made It, The mouth-watering deep wine. Play It – The exotically glamorous hot pink. See Me The head-turning, playful peach.  Stella, The show-stopping purple with a flash of shimmering turquoise. You Kid, The understated yet eye-catching nude.

SS17 Luxury Blushes: Burberry, Cle De Peau, Sisley and byTerry

There are a lot of new blushers out for Spring 2017, and I even posted a preview of some of the coolest palettes. But here is a preview of the creme de la creme of the blush launches, the most luxurious and high-end ones.

Burberry Beauty Silk and Bloom Blush Palette $68 from Nordstrom and £45 from Feel Unique

“An illuminating face powder that creates a soft glow with a hint of colour. It  combines subtle rosy colour and illuminating pearls, the soft-as-silk powder creates a glowing, flushed effect on your cheeks.”  the pattern of the blush is inspired by the  antique wallpaper sourced from London’s Victoria and Albert Museum.

Cle De Peau Cream Blush, $60 from Neiman Marcus and Barney’s

“A luxuriously moisturizing cream blush with Argan Oil that
