We all love personalised approach when it comes to everything including beauty, don’t we? This is why it is awesome to see brands having that approach. I am personally a fan of Concoction hair care brand, and now it is awesome to see Clarins and their Boosters.
What are these?
Clarins Boosters are basically high-concentrated formulas which are created for a certain concern. You simply add several drops to the cream of your choice. There are three options to choose from:
- Tones are re-energises the skin
- Minimises signs of fatigue
- Revives radiance
- Reduces feelings of discomfort
- Optimises skin strength
- Minimises the appearance of redness
Unfortunately, I did not have time to schedule a review for today so here is a sneak preview of the products that I plan to review in the future.
I thought it would be better to post at least a photo instead of nothing.
The products are: terre D’Or Milky Perfume Cloud, Jo Malone Blackberry and Bay Cologne, Daniel Sandler glosses, Clarins face powder, Hourglass Lash Lacquer, Inglot eye shadows, Alessandro nail polish, Elemis eye serum.
Believe it or not, but it actually took me hours and hours to complete this list, as I had to think carefully about what products I really want or what products I actually need.
This is not really a wish list, but more of a shopping list of the products that I plan to buy in the near future. Of course, I could add more, but I’ve decided to be very strict with myself so every item got on the list after a lot of consideration and is very covetable…
So here is the list!
1. Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in Soft Brunette, £26
I have almost finished my Benefit eye pencil and I am definitely getting an Hourglass one next.
2. Matte Eye Shadows Palette
I can’t decide if I should get the Too Faced Matte Eye Shadow Collection (£24.57 from Beauty Bay) or theBalm Meet Matte ($42 from the brand’s website, but they are in the process of creating a European shop, as well). I actually really love the eye shadow quality from both brands: Too Faced Natural Eye Palette Review and Swatches, theBalm Nude Tude Eye Shadows Palette Review and Swatches and the Balm Shady Lady Palette Vol.2 Review and Swatches so that’s a hard one. I only wish Too Faced palette weren’t so bulky. Maybe I should get both?!
3. Cream Blusher
That is probably the last thing that I need, considering how many I have but I’ve decided that I can get one, as a treat for myself. After a lot of consideration, I’ve chosen Stila’s Stila Convertible Colour (I actually can’t believe that I still haven’t tried it!) I think I’ll get Rose or Lillium (£15.12 from Beauty Bay)
Now this is the category of the products that I need. There are a lot of skincare products that I want and the list is endless but these
If you follow me on Instagram, you have already seen this photo, and my promise of the feature. So here it is…
Actually, believe it or not, but usually I don’t care about dark circles (on myself, not when I am doing someone’s makeup), unless they really look that bad. But when I do want to look flawless, here is what I do.
First of all, I use a good eye cream, for me it has to be a moisturizing balm, as I have very dry skin. I love Clarins Special Eye Contour Balm Dry Skin (review) and FOM London Revitalising Eye Care Balm (read about it), I leave it for some time while I am getting ready, and afterwards the following products are being used:
Benefit Erase Paste Concealer (review and swatches)
It is a great concentrated creamy product that counteracts
Clarins have been killing it with their eye shadows lately, and I have been completely in love.
I’ve been wearing their summer cream eye shadows pretty much exculively for months (and also made some of my friends get those), and their new Autumn palettes are also to-die-for. I’ve already included them in my monthly favourites, and here is why.
First of all, I like the packaging which feels more sleek and luxurious compared to the old version, the compacts are also not bulky, and are travel-friendly.
Ecah palette contains four eye shadows. I have 03 Brown and 04 Oud, and here is a close up.
There are four palette in general, and the idea is that each palette is designed to compliment a particular eye colour. Mine are created for brown/hazel eyes. The other two variations are: Nude for blue eyes and Rosewood for the green. Although you can, obviously, choose whichever palette.
As for the ones that I have 03 Brown is great for creating shadows and contour, and also for subtle classic brown smoky eyes. However, it is 04 Oud the star of
