Clarins Toners Guide for Dry and Sensitive Skin

I know that a lot of readers come to Makeup4all for all things Clarins, so here, as promised, is my guide to Clarins toners. I did a detailed review about each product, so this post will be a brief summery, you can read all the details by clicking the links.

Before we start, I’d like to mention that I have very dry and sensitive skin, and my age group is 26-30.

Clarins All About Lips Set Review and Swatches

I was very excited to get my Clarins sets that I’ve ordered when Feel Unique had a discount so today I want to tell you about the lip glosses  set which is absolutely amazing.

Clarins All About Lips  Lip Colour Collection, £15.30

It includes:

  •  Clarins Colour Quench Lip Balm in 02 Caramel 7 ml
  •  Clarins  Colour Quench Lip Balm in 03 Rose Pink 7 ml
  •  Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector 01 Rose Shimmer 5ml
  • Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector 03 Nude Shimmer 5ml
  • Clarins Pouch

Here is a close up of the glosses.

I have heard so many raves about both, especially about the Instant Lip Perfector and now I can see why. When I tied this gloss for the first time my lips were very dry and chapped but after just several minutes they looked and felt much better! It was actually hard to believe. The gloss has a delicious scent and  a beautiful formula. The colour is  sheer and delicate, perfect for an every day use.

These are definitely in my top products now. And now I also want the shades #2  Apricot Shimmer.

As for the  Quench Lip Balm, it is  a

Clarins Skin Illusion Mineral & Plant Extracts Loose Powder Foundation Review and Swatches

As you may remember, there are a lot of new foundations out for Autumn. So here is, as promised, review of one of them – Clarins Skin Illusion Mineral & Plant Extracts Loose Powder Foundation.

I have the lightest shade, of course, which is 105 Ivory. I actually really like the design of this foundation.  I love how it looks on my vanity, it draws attention and it is cute. Isn’t it important, too? 😉

I don’t usually use mineral foundations as they may look powdery and a bit cakey on my dry skin. But since it’s summer my skin is normal now, so I’ve decided to give this one a try. I’ve had it for several weeks and am ready to tell you my opinion.

Here is how the powder  looks like.

First of all, I love the scent, it smells fresh and floral, as a lot of Clarins powders do, and I love it!  I was afraid that it may look too obvious on my skin, but it doesn’t.  You should prep your skin first and application is the key here (more on that read below). But it looks flawless and blends in beautifully. Skin Illusion doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, if fact, I can’t even feel it.

It is long-lasting and stays on really well. Unfortunately, I did not have a chance to test it out in the heat but it does stay  on all day long when it’s  +25C.

The coverage is medium to high, it is buildable, I had some skin problems this month and it was enough. I just used a little bit of concealer on top. Otherwise, this loose  powder foundation would be enough.

I have also used cream products on top (photo below) and they

September 2015 Beauty Favourites

It’s time for monthly favourites! And this time I’ve decided to mention only those products that I have been really loving. Somehow I have re-discovered 17 Sheer Moisture Foundation which is now discontinued but which has been my base of choice lately, as it gives that beautiful light and glowing finish.

The other product  which is not shown is Garnier HandRepair Intensive Restoring Hand Cream because I have used it all up. And, just like the body cream, this one is brilliant.Works wonders on my very dry hands and feet, it improved the condition [of my skin] dramatically, moisturized and nourished.

Clarins Joli Rouge Lipstick in 738 Royal Plum (review and lip swatches)

I have an old version of the lipstick but I will have a few samples of the new Joli Rouge to review and compare them for you. This is an amazing product! The sheer formula can be built up,  or worn as a barely-there stain.  And this the most beautiful dark plum, looks gorgeous on the lips, have been wearing it non-stop.

The only other makeup product is the new Rouge Bunny Rouge Naked Disguise Glide Concealer. And this, without a doubt, is now one of my favourite concealers ever. The texture is light  but at the same time it transforms the under eye area by brightening and covering the dark circles. It doesn’t look or feel heavy and doesn’t set into the fine lines. I like the brand’s description “your skin but better”, and I agree.

Clarins After Sun Shimmer Oil. Review

If you a regular reader, you know my obsession with shimmering body oils. I personally think that it’s a must have for summer.

Today I want to share about a really lovely one – Clarins After Sun Shimmer Oil.

Clarins After Sun Shimmer Oil review

Although, this is a nourishing oil, it feels light on the skin, absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave the greasy residue.  It adds that beautiful glow thanks to the micro-pearls and evens out the skin-tone slightly.

Unfortunately,  I did not have a chance to use it after the sun (hopefully, yet) but it works great for my pale greenish/blueish legs anyway. It also adds extra healthy glow after the fake tan.

The oil has a
