While I am still putting together my 2015 beauty favourites, I thought I’d share the products I loved in December. Most things were the same as in November, those face creams and theBalm highlighter especially so I won’t repeat myself.
As for December, it was all about a lot of body creams and lotions, changing my skincare a bit for colder weather and protecting my lips. Also, since it was the first month since summer when I’ve stopped getting gel manicure, I have also re-discovered my nail polishes.
I was getting gel manicure non-stop since summer and December was the month when I finally stopped for a while mainly because of the deadlines and the holidays (I simply did not have time to go and see my manicurist). So it was nice to re-discover my nail polish collection and relaxing process of painting my nails. It is also kind of cool to be able to change the colour several times per week.
Elemis Exotic eau de Parfum. Although I did
If you follow me on Instagram, you have already seen that I was sent some Clarins products from the AW collection to show you.
And I’d like to start with the 3 Dot liner which is now comes in Brown/Brun shade. The black version got a lot of raves back in the way, and the brown one it just as good.
It gives a beautiful subtle definition to the eyes, doesn’t look harsh in the daylight and is a great shade to start with for those who still need to practice their skills. Brown is

Finally I am writing about my 2013 favouries. You can read about my 2012 makeup favourites here.
But there are quite a few products that I want to mention, so I’ve decided to divide it into several posts, not to make it too long.
So the first part is about makeup products for the face. And I did not want to include a product in each category, but wanted to mention the products that stood out to me.
The last thing that I have to mention – I have dry sensitive skin, and the age group is 25-30.
Clarins BB Skin Perfecting Cream SPF 25 (review)
This was the BB cream of the year for me. The base that I wore almost all the summer, it was a great match for my tanned skin. It feels light on the skin and gives a medium coverage, plus smells really nice.
Hourglass Illusion Tinted Moisturizer (review)
At first I wasn’t a huge fan of this product, but now I use it whenever my skin needs some glow and luminosity, and there is no need for the highlighter. It gives a very good coverage for a TM, I personally don’t even need a concealer.
BECCA Luminous Skin Colour Ultra-Sheer Foundation SPF 25+ (review)
This is a discovery of the year. This foundation gives a very light coverage and has an almost fluid texture, so suitable for the days when your skin looks nice but you want to even out the complexion.
Rouge Bunny Rouge Tinted Moisturiser Sketches on Water (review)
If I could keep only one “base” – this would be it. It’s my
I was asked about the Clarins Be Long mascara so many times… This is why I am happy to share my opinion about it.
Lately I’ve been loving volumizing mascaras that give a real wow-effect, such as Chanel’s Le Volume de Chanel and Max Factor’s Excess Volume Extreme Impact , so I was a bit afraid that this one could be too subtle. But, luckily, you can get not only “natural looking lashes” with this mascara. You can achieve more dramatic results, too.
Be Long has a small rubbery bendy brush which makes the application very easy, you can also apply it to the bottom lashes, without getting the product everywhere. Plus you can get even the smallest and the shortest lashes with it. Win-win!
So what are the results? You get
