Ever since I discovered the Clarins blog, I’ve been reading their beauty posts and watching their beauty videos with a great pleasure.
So today I want to share the video that really inspired my current body care routine
Tonic Body Treatment Oil “Firming/Toning” (£38/$56 )+ Moisture Rich Body Lotion (£30/$40) = fantastic combo!
My products were a gift with purchase so this is why they are so small
My skin feels very smooth, soft and
Here are the two kajals from Clarins summer 2012 makeup collection, one is purple and the other one is black and each retails for £15.
I actually really like these for what they are, they have a nice India inspired, design, are very soft and don’t cost a fortune. It is also written that these are formulated with rose and mimosa extracts.
When it comes to my own makeup, I usually use a soft (most of the time dark brown) eye liner, smudge it, add mascara and that is all. So these two are actually perfect for that! Clarin’s Kajals apply smoothly and blend easily. I love blending them really well so that I get a thin layer that lasts for hours on me. Then I also build up the colour closer to the lash line. This is an perfectly easy look as you can get a variation of shades with only one product.
But I have to say that if
Clarins Colour Accents Face & Blush Palette is a limited edition product from their Autumn collection.
The pattern includes four colours which you can use separately or swirl together.
I have to say that it is very hard to use the pink colour itself unless you use a very small (eye shadow) brush for a very precise application. But when it’s used mixed with other shades, it adds some freshness to the colour you get.
I personally use this palette as I would use my blush, bronzer or contouring powder, depending on what look I am going for.
It’s nice that Accents Face & Blush palette is not very dark or orange, it would look nice even on fair complexions if you use it lightly, of course.

I was asked about the Clarins Be Long mascara so many times… This is why I am happy to share my opinion about it.
Lately I’ve been loving volumizing mascaras that give a real wow-effect, such as Chanel’s Le Volume de Chanel and Max Factor’s Excess Volume Extreme Impact , so I was a bit afraid that this one could be too subtle. But, luckily, you can get not only “natural looking lashes” with this mascara. You can achieve more dramatic results, too.
Be Long has a small rubbery bendy brush which makes the application very easy, you can also apply it to the bottom lashes, without getting the product everywhere. Plus you can get even the smallest and the shortest lashes with it. Win-win!
So what are the results? You get
Regular readers will probably know that a good hand cream is a must have for me. If I could have only one beauty product with me in my bag, that’d be it (and a lip balm, if I can have two).
I have very dry skin, especially on the hands, and I love to re-apply the cream whenever I need to do it
or feel like doing it.
This is why I’ve decided to share my personal top 5 hand creams. Unfortunately, most of them are not cheap but I, personally, am ready to pay for the quality.
Elemis Pro-Radiance Hand Cream (review)
It is probably my favourite hand cream ever, it instantly makes the skin feel moisturized and smooth, such a relief, especially in the cold(er) months. Plus I could totally tell that my nails were in much better condition when I was using it.
The price is £24 from Feel Unique
