Regular readers will know how much I love Watercolour blushers from Daniel Sandler. In fact, I have written a very detailed review of them with tips from Daniel himself.
So this feature will be mostly about the new shades, and not an in-depth review. And there is a kit of four colours! It retails for £49.50 while a single shade is £16.50 which makes each shade from the kit retail for £12.3!
So what are you getting?
- Moonglow, sheer, pearlescent white highlighter
- Sun Glow, a warm, golden bronze illuminator
- Luxe, a delicate, matte peach
- Pop, a medium toned, matte pink
Each bottle is 15ml.
My personal favourite shade is
I was hoping to like the new Daniel Sandler’s Invisible Radiance Foundation and Concealer but I don’t just like it – I totally love it!
It is like my dream foundation, I love everything about it. Plus you also get a concealer in a matching colour and that all retails for £28.
It blends into the skin perfectly, feels light and gives a beautiful radiant and rather dewy finish without being greasy or shiny. It doesn’t enhance dry patches which is very important for me as I have dry skin.
I have not tried this foundation on anyone with oily or combination skin but it is amazing on people with dry and normal skin types.
Invisible Radiance Foundation and Concealer looks very natural on the skin and I can’t even tell that I am wearing it, yes, it is that good! It gives a medium coverage but luckily there is also a concealer to cover all the imperfections. I personally would rather use a lighter foundation and then conceal the little problems instead of using a heavy coverage foundation!
I find that concealer that comes with foundation gives a
I was away with my friends for the weekend, and it was exactly what I needed, we had such an amazing time, walked around, tried new food and just laughed a lot.
I thought I’d share what lip products I had with me. I could actually have less but since I wanted to make an effort for once and have a choice I took quite a few. And here they are together with everything else I had with me, so that you’d see the proportions.
Plus, I’ve decided to share about the lip products, as regular readers will recognize all the other products as I talk about them non-stop anyway. But if you have any questions about any of the products – please leave me a comment.
Also, since I usually talk about luxury lip products, I thought it’d be nice to include some budget-friendly options this time.
Clarins Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector. (review and swatches) – the best “nude”
I am totally in love with this line. I have already used up 01 Rose and now am half way through Rosewood. These are absolutely brilliant, just like the glossy version. I also have two more shades which are equally great!
Rouge Bunny Rouge Lip Potion Devilish Nectar – just for fun.
This is actually a lip gloss with Chilli which makes your lips fuller. It also contains golden shimmer so the lips do look pretty. I did not get a chance to use it this time but it was nice to have options. I will
Remember my post about the beautiful candles that would make a great Christmas present?
I’ve actually got the In Love Candle by Daniel Sandler just in time for Christmas from Daniel himself. That was such a lovely gift!
It comes in luxury black packaging which is glossy on two sides and matte on two other sides. Inside you can see the black, white, and red DS logos.
In Love is made with organic soy wax and is hand-poured into hand-blown Italian crystal glass.
I absolutely love the notes that were chosen for this candle:
My Mum doesn’t wear makeup. Only lipstick sometimes. But recently she decided to change her hair style, got some new clothes and asked me if I could select some makeup for her.
Wow! I definitely approve 😉
She has light skin, dark hair and eyes, so here are the basics that I have chosen. She doesn’t need that many products simply because she won’t even use them – so, knowing her taste and requirements, here is what I’ve chosen:
I am not yet 100% sure about the foundation that will suit her the best. So far she liked this Bourjois one (shown on the photo). But if you have suggestions for a lady around 50 with dry skin, feel free to share. And thanks to everyone on Twitter for their recommendations!
Blush is a must have in a makeup bag of any girl, in my opinion, as it instantly changes the appearance. This Max Factor blush is one of my personal favourites and I know that it will look great on her, too. Will have to pick up another one soon, as I am giving away my personal one.
