Inspired by their A/W 2009 runway collection, Dolce & Gabbana are introducing The Romantic Collection for fall. You may remember, they debuted their makeup collection at Milan Fashion Week a few months ago and it was a big hit. I’m sure the upcoming fall collection will be more of the same. The collection features a new range of pinks with a fresh shimmer in shades from pale delicates to vibrantly shocking brights.
“The Rose palette brings the collection to a new level; Dolce & Gabbana wanted to take risks with colour, texture, mood – and at the same time capture the essence of each element,” says legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath, who works with Dolce & Gabbana on The Makeup. “While the focus is on the eyes – very sexy, very daring – the soft voluptuous lips add an intensity that’s erotic. The rose look is very romantic, almost ethereal – yet very sophisticated.”
