Christmas Gift Guide for Him: Men Tell Us What They Really Want

I know that a lot of readers are wondering what to get their husbands/boyfriends (or even brothers/fathers/male friends) for Christmas.

This is why I have asked “men from my life” what they would like to get – to share with you some ideas. I just hope that now they won’t think that I am getting all those things for them… ūüėČ

I have promised not to give away their names, so here are just the quotes and age group. Most of my male friends are 30-35 but I have asked several younger and several older men,  for the variety. Elemis Skin Brush Review and Photos. Love It

I’ve had this post in drafts for several weeks (if not months) and since today we were talking about Elemis I think that’s the sign for me to write and publish¬† it finally ūüėČ

I want to tell you about the product that changed my idea about the brushes! I am talking about Elemis Skin Brush!

You can get yours for £18 or for $44 at Nordstorm if you are from the US.

This is how the brush looks like.

pure natural cactus bristle brush

You may think that it’s an ordinary brush¬† and you can get the same for a much lower price, right? If you – do be sure that you read this review till the end.

This is how the brush looks like on the other side and it’s great because you can take it in hand and you don’t have to be afraid that it will slip out of it.

It also has a holder which is amazing and really long as you can see from the photo so you can reach all you body. And there are so many more amazing things about this brush!

This month there were quite a few  beauty products that I really loved. Which ones?July 2014 Beauty Favourites Makeup4all   Skincare

Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm Review (review)

It is such an ah-mazing cleanser, feels creamy and lush on the skin, smells really nice, and leaves the skin soft and smooth. It can be also used as a face mask. What else could you ask for?

Elemis Exotic Cream Moisturuzing  Mask

This is one of my favourite face masks ever, so I am not sure why I still did not write a proper review about it, will do soon. As the name suggests, it moisturises and soothes the skin. Whenever I am stressed out, don’t get enough of sleep and work-work-work, this is the mask that helps my skin to look and feel decent.

You can buy Elemis from Feel Unique.

Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation Creme (review)

I wrote a detailed review about this cream last week actually, so you can take a look. But in a nutshell: it is a lightweight but hydrating cream that also helps with discolouration. It retails for $40 from Sephora and £47 from Feel Unique.

Beauty Products on My Desk

I thought I’d show you what beauty products are staples on my desk.¬† I have two of my current favourite candles which are: Daniel Sandler In Love and Jo Malone Red Rosses and several creams.

As you may already know, I am obsessed with hand creams, so I am actually surprised that I have only two here: Elemis Pro-Radiance (which has to be my all time favourite) and butter LONDON Master hand cream.

I also have a body Lotion from Clarins just in case. I’ve got it as a gift with purchase and I absolutely adore it, as everything Clarins.

And that picture is from Ellis Faas. Wish I had more post cards with her work! By the way, I still have to share my interview with her with you all…

Favourite Beauty Products of 2012: Body Care

Today it’s time for part three of my 2012 beauty favourites and it’s all about body care and, I think, regular readers won’t be surprised by any of my picks. Especially considering that most of the products are from my favourite skincare brands.

Cleansers

Cowshed Soaps

For some reason in 2012 I’ve started using soaps instead of shower gels. Long gone are the days when soaps were harsh and¬† drying, these days you can get some luxurious, creamy ones. I am absolutely in love with the set I’ve bought from Cowshed, would like to try other soaps the brand offers in the future.

 Clarins Toning Body Polisher

Clarins have two body scrubs and I have written about both but my favourite has to be Toning Body Polisher (yellow one). Want to know why? Keep reading.
