Holiday Red Lips and Nails with Ellis Faas and Revlon

Those of you who follow me on twitter probably already saw this photo of me wearing Ellis Faas  Creamy Lips in L101 Ellis Red which is just amazing! According to the brand it should look nice on every skin tone. They also have the famous Ellis Red in other formulas: Milky Lips L201 and Glazed Lips L301 so you can choose a formula, too.

As for the nail polish I am wearing Revlon’s Valentine and although I absolutely love the colour I am not happy with the application and the brush. But I will write about both products in more details later, so stay tuned!

I plan to show you some other red and plum lip products over the next few weeks.  And I would really love to hear what lip shades are you loving now? By the way, have you seen my tips onhow to wear a red lipstick?

Christmas Gift Guide: Ellis Faas Lights

Lights  is a relatively new product and its the latest edition of Ellis Faas makeup products for the eyes. In my opinion these are the best eye shadows for the holiday.

The package is gorgeous and unique and the colours are to die for, see for yourself!

This is what is written about the product:

“Like practically all ELLIS FAAS products, these are liquid, but they dry upon application, and then the Lights give the illusion of having a small metallic sheet on the eyelid. Because the particles in the product are so fine, it will appear from a distance that the shiny texture is oily or wet – even though it is perfectly dry with a smooth finish, so you won’t feel any stickiness on the eyelids, and they will not build up in eyelid creases. They are available in five shades: warm silver, greenish gold, bronze, lilac and holographic Bordeaux.”

The price is €32/£25/$42

Unfortunately I’ve never tried the Lights myself but I would really love to. You can read the review of Ellis Faas range including Lights at London MakeUp Girl. She also has some links to other brilliant reviews of the brand.

And how amazing those shades are, don’t you agree? Which one would you choose?
