Want It: Givenchy Rouge Interdit Lipsticks

It feels like I haven’t posted  anything in “Want It” category for ages, but I have finally found something which has my name written all over it! And it is the new relaunched  Rouge Interdit lipstick which is already available for $34 from Barneys.

Givenchy is the luxury brand  which I personally find the most aesthetically pleasing when it comes to the design of their beauty products.  I die for their packaging. I’d describe it is a luxury rock chic. And they have been killing it for the last several years.

I am still over the moon with my Le Rouge lipstick; I find the case it comes it to be

My Favourite 17 Features of 2017

It feels as if I was writing about my  16 favourite features from 2016 only yesterday, and now it is time to look back at 2017. Although, I have to admit, that  2017 was not the most productive year website wise, there were still a lot of posts I loved putting together.

Once again, these are the articles I loved writing the most,  I will also put together a round up of the features that got the most views which will be interesting to see.

  1.  Makeup Trend: Eye Gloss (here). Probably my favourite feature of 2017.

2.  Exclusive Interview with Ellis Faas, Make-Up Artist (here).I feel so privileged to be able to talk with talented and creative people from the industry.

3. My Birthday Wish List (here). I do have most of the items from the list now. Being obsessed with the lists, it helped me to see on what items I actually needed/wanted. Should probably post one for this year as well.

4. Another interview. This time with  Adina from A England Nail Polish Brand (here). She is such a cool lady and her cat is just the cutest.

5. Daniel Sandler Watercolour Customisable Colour Set For Cheeks Review and Swatches (here).I love Daniel’s blushers and it was a pleasure writing about this set, besides, it is simply gorgeous.

6. I always try to write monthly beauty favourites, and in 2017 loved the

SS19 Bronzers: Lancome, Chanel, Chantecaille, byTerry Clarins and Givenchy

May means that pretty much all of the summer collections are out, including all the pretty bronzers. I have chosen six that caught my eye. But it seems that I will have to feature more a bit later.

Chanel duo bronze et lumièreBronzer And Highlighter Duo, $70 from Chanel

As all bronzers in this feature, it comes in 2 shades: Clair and Medium (shown). You get a matte bronzer and an  iridescent highlighter. I looks pretty perfect to me.

Lancome  LE FRENCH GLOW , $45 Nordstrom and Saks

How cool are the LIBERTÉ, EGALITÉ, FEMININITÉ writings on the bronzer?  You get 4 shades in each compact to bronze and contour. You can get 1 Warm Liberte  or 2 Warm Sensualite.

Clarins Bronzing Compact, $45 from Saks, Nordstrom

Clarins summer bronzers are some of the best on the market, I still really love

Want It: Givenchy Disturbia Collection

Givenchy give most other beauty companies a run for their money when it comes to packaging lately.

I am a huge fan of the Noir Couture mascara and I also loved their felt tip eye liner, and that makes me very excited for the new Disturbia collection, I have my eyes on the black mascara, besides these three,  and the eye liner in the red packaging. I am being that specific because there is also a red mascara (which looks burgundy on the promos; LE), and an eye liner in a black packaging.

I’ve bought a mini NARS mascara just because it was in red, and good thing I’ve got a small one, it smudges like crazy, and I prefer the Givenchy design anyway. Basically, you can put anything in a red tube and I already want it, simple as that.

What about the products?

The liner is promised to be intense, smudge-proof and  waterproof while delivering an intense black colour.

The mascara is described as the one to give  “excessive volume and dramatic curve. A volume and curve effect, so excessive, they are almost disturbing!” The brush is silicone.

I have noticed that  both products are sold out already, and why am I not surprised, so we’ll have to wait for the restocks. Givenchy is available online from Saks  Neiman MarcusBarneysHarrods, Sephora, Escentual and Nordstrom so keep an eye on those magical red packaging.

The price for both is €29.
