I’ve been having a thing for Givenchy makeup lately. And whenever I run out of a product, it is one of the first brands I look into.
My favourite BY TERRY Ligne Blackstar in So Black (here) dried out right before the wedding, which was very unexpected, and I was almost in a panic mode, to be honest. But I had to calm down and go shopping for a new eye liner (all the ones I had were not good enough).
It took a while to find the one I would like, as the photo above demonstrates. And Givenchy Liner Couture Precision Felt-tip Eyeliner was the one.
I really loved the
I did not write “monthly favourites” features recently, so I will try to combine my winter favourites in one post. But since I could go on, and on I will be very strict with myself and will only allow 10 things. Wish me luck!
Oh, and happy 1st of March! How is it Spring already?
In winter I really enjoyed trying new fragrances, reading about them, and listening to podcasts about perfumery. I especially loved these episodes about Jo Malone and Frederic Malle. I’ve acquired a few sample sets which let me try new scents. I had to move a few times in Autumn, and, unfortunately, lost my Turin/Sanchez perfume book (Amazon/Amazon UK) in the process, so will have to get a new, 2018 addition. I also really want these little samples of Frederic Malle and Margiela magical creations. And a bottle of Le Labo Rose 31 (as seen here).
2. My Reds.
Would this even be a favourites feature from me without mentioning red nail varnishes? My two loves this winter were CND Creative Play Nail Lacquer in Red-Y To Roll, a true long-lasting red, a gorgeous classic, and Givenchy Le Vernis in 06 Carmi Escaprin, a punchy fiery orange based red.
3. Skincare Routine ( on Insta).
I am cheating here a bit, and just mentioning a lot of products but they all are phenomenal. I really have to write detailed reviews on each. But, so far, I can say that I’ve used them all for months and can see incredible results. Omorovicza Illuminating Moisturiser, Darphin Ideal Resource Light Re-Birth Overnight Cream, Anne Semonin Precious Serum, Lierac Mesolift Fatigue Correction Ultra Vitamin Enriched Refreshing Serum. I swear by each product!
4. Good Mascaras.
Long time readers will know how I do not really share personal things, however, this month I’ve got married, and I wanted to share the products I’ve used on the big day. Of course, I did my own makeup.
I’ve tried many products and product combos but, in the end, I’ve just decided to use my beloved Rouge Bunny Rouge SERENE LIGHT Skin Perfector (here). This is a slightly tinted primer which leaves your skin glowing and luminous. For my very dry skin it is perfect. It is a primer so barely gives any coverage but is great for adding radiance and creating that “healthy” polished look. I’ve covered all the little imperfections I’ve had with the MAC Pro Concealer and Corrector Palette in Light ( Amazon and Amazon UK) slightly powdered the t-zone with the Rouge Bunny Rouge Flawless Face Powder Precious Velvet (review). It it the only powder I use, not a fan of powder on myself. I’ve added some Highlighting Liquid Seas of Illumination in Sea Of Tranquility (review) , also by RBR, where I wanted to have more glow. I’ve chosen a cool-toned highlighter to go well with my cool toned lipstick and nail varnish. To add some warmth to my face I’ve used two of my absolute favourites – theBalm Balm Desert (review) and Daniel Sandler Watercolour in Golden Glow (review). I’ve mentioned both products so many times that I won’t go into much details again, I just bloody love both. And I always use Daniel’s blushers on brides so used my favourite shade on myself, as well. Besides the old favourites I’ve decided to try a new product for me (used it only twice before) –Trish McEvoy Instant Eye Lift (Nordstrom and Liberty ) and it did not disappoint. It is a

There are lots of new makeup launches for Autumn, and I have selected the hottest, in my opinion, for you to choose from. I’ve also made sure to pick something for face, lips and eyes.
Givenchy lipsticks are the hottest ones out there, if you ask me. And while I definitely do not need any new ones, I’d get this one in a heart beat. Leather case and a liquid lipstick which look easy to apply. Oh, yes! The formula is promised to be soft and creamy, and the finish – matte. The shade featured is 410 Rouge Suedin.
It is basically a lipstick which comes in a form of a felt pen which allows a very precise application. Dior claim “long-wearing formula delivers intense colour with a sumptuous matte finish for up to 12 hours”. The colour shown is
