Inglot Nail Enamel in # 318 Review and Swatch

Last week I wrote a  review about the coral shade that you can see on the photo and now it’s time for the lime green in #318.

I already wrote that these nail enamels are a bit different: coral has 15 ml and lime green has 16 ml, the finish is also different. Coral has a cream finish while green has – metallic.  So obviously you get the different effect. You need at least 2 coats of #318 to get the opaque cover and it chips faster than #949.  The conclusion? I am very

My Personal Holiday Wish List

Since I am posting all those Holiday Gift Guides, it seemed like a cool idea to share my  own wish list. And this is not only beauty but pretty much everything that I want.  I would actually really want to know what is on top of your wish list this year, so do share.

Books

What I Saw: Reports from Berlin, 1920-1933 by Joseph Roth,  £6 from Amazon UK and $16.95 from Amazon. I read some of his reports about Vienna, and loved them. So the ones about Berlin are on my wish list, too.

Appetites: A Cookbook by Anthony Bourdain, £31.50 from Amazon UK and $22.50 from Amazon. I am a big fan of Mr. Bourdain, and says it all. Also, I love cooking.

Pretty Iconic: A Personal Look at the Beauty Products that Changed the World by Sali Hughes, £12.50 from Amazon UK and $14 from Amazon. I don’t really read that many beauty related websites/books these days, but I did read Sali’s first book, and would like this one, too.

July Makeup Bag

It seems like it’s now a tradition to show you  what beauty and makeup products I take with me when I am away, just like in this post. So, since I am currently visiting my family, here is a quick update on what products I took with me.

To tell the truth, I barely wear any makeup these days but I did take quite a few products (and a lot of brushes) since people always ask me for a makeover.

I am very happy with the skincare that I’ve packed with me, including a lot of mini bottles which I am currently testing.  I only wish I took more than three nail polishes, as my 5-years-old-cousin loves to borrow them 🙂

Makeup and beauty products for travelling makeup4allSpeaking of my cousin, she insisted on inspecting my “treasures” as she described my makeup bag… When she saw the red lipstick I had,  she told me that she had to put it on me, since it’d make me look gorgeous. What can I say? She does know beauty.

I am Back! And Here is the Makeup I Used During the Holiday Season

I was away for ten days visiting my family and friends and I did not use Internet or my phone 95% of the time. It was the best decision ever, as I could truly enjoy the holidays and now I am back to work/blog/life well rested and motivated.

I was catching up on some blogs  I follow and loved reading “The Best of 2012” features, I should definitely post it myself. But in the meanwhile, here are the makeup products I had with me, and some of them are my all time favourites actually.

Face

Omorovicza Complexion Perfector BB SPF 20 which I took in a small pot helped my skin to look flawless,  I’ve also had my trusted Touche  Eclat  by YSL with me, as well, as Jouer’s Age Repairing Concealer in 3 Cameo.

BECCA’s  Cream Blush in Amaryllis is my all time favourite, so I had to have it to  bring the “life” to my face. Benefit’s High Beam in mini size also helped a lot.

Sienna X’s  Cream To Powder Bronzer & Illuminator is a product I haven’t featured before but I do like it a lot and will definitely post about it soon.

Eyes

First of all, I had my Benefit’s eye brow pencil, as I am never without it. Anastasia’s Genius Top Coat and three of my all time favourite eye shadows: Rouge Bunny Rouge Long Lasting Eye Shadow in Bejewelled Skylark, Daniel Sandler Polychromatic Eyeshadow in Lava and

Favourite Makeup Of 2010: Products For Eyes

You already read the post about my favourite face products of 2010 and now it’s time for eye products! And, yes, stay tuned for the lip products part!

So let’s start!

Mascara

Lancome Hypnose

My favourite mascara is Lancome Hypnose. I’ve tried so many mascaras (and have so many brand new waiting for me to try them) and although there are so many amazing products for me nothing beats up the Lancome Hypnose so far! Read review here.

Eye Shadows

Ellis Faas Lights

Not only they look absolutely gorgeous , but they also stay on for hours without creasing, fading or smudging. I am really impressed. Read review here.

Benefit Creaseless Cream Eye Shadows

I just love these eye shadows and I’ve already written about them twice, they are just so good. Brilliant cream eye shadows. I know that several people bought them after reading my post (which makes me happy that people trust my reviews) and loved them, too. Read review here and here.

Yves Saint Laurent Ombres 5 Lumieres

These have been my favourite high-end eye shadows this year, the best quality ever: silky texture, nice pigmentation, beautiful shades. Read review here.

Eye Liner

Illamasqua Precision Ink

Every time I’ve wanted an eye liner – I’ve reached for the Illamasqua’s. They are just great:
