January 2017 Beauty Favourites

It’s like only yesterday I was writing about my favourite makeup products of 2016, and today I am already sharing about the favourites of the first month of 2017. Where did time go?

And it feels like I am talking about the same things over, and over again but I do love those products. However, I did discover some new gems this month.

Beauty

REN  Rose O12 Moisture Defence Oil (from Cult Beauty, Feel UniqueLook Fantastic and  SEPHORA).

This is definitely my favourite oil of the moment, it works even for my extremely dry skin type, saves it from being flaky and itchy, and smells amazing.  Finally, a product I love as much, as my other REN Holy Grail.

J. R. Watkins Shea Butter Hand Cream (from Amazon)

My fried got this one in America, and she told me how this is a very rich and nourishing cream, and it is. While some people find such textures to be too much for their taste, I am a big fan, the cream leaves the  skin ridiculously soft and smooth. And smells of honey and coconuts.

Carmex Moisture Lip Balm (from Amazon)

Another present, this time from my lovely Farrah. This product does not need an introduction, it is a cult favourite for a reason. I personally love the

Lancome Absolute Rose Makeup Collection for Spring 2017

Spring is all about the fresh pinks, lavenders and blues makeup-wise, and Lisa Eldridge did a great job capturing all that and  the signature Lancome’s rose in a beauty collection. There are some very cool and innovative products, too.

Let’s take a look.

The star product is definitely the La Rose Blush Powder  which comes in the rose shape, and  truly looks incredible. It is encapsulated in a 50’s French-inspired Bijou box, the product itself is a highlighting luminous powder.  There is a also Kabuki Brush   which comes in a LE  rose gold design.

The other really cool idea is to combine a high-pigmented matte formula on one end, and a cushion on the other. Le Stylo Parisian Lips  come in four shades: 01 Bonjour Bonheur, 02 Rose Mon Amour,  03 Je M Appelle Rose and

Lancome Makeup Collection for Christmas 2016

Here is a preview of yet another Christmas 2016 makeup collections. This time it is Lancome’s release which is all about pinks and purples. Although, these are not the typical “festive” shades, the products still come in those gorgeous glittery golden packaging.

The star products of the collection are definitely the cushion highlighter and an eye shadows palette.

La Palette Des Rêves  £40/ $50

AW 16 Lipsticks: Armani, NARS, Lancome and MAC

I have already mentioned so many new lipstick launches here, here and here, but today let’s take a look  at even more new and  awesome releases. We all know that one can never have too many lipsticks. An although I personally can’t even fit all my lipsticks into my  drawers, I want all of these. Ahem.

And even if you do not need anything, theses days the brands create such beautiful images, videos and the stories behind each product that you feel like you have to indulge. Very clever strategy.

NARS Lip Glide, £22 from Selfridges and  $26 from Nordstrom

Semi-matte color glides on a stays supple without drying or feeling sticky. Developed with Oil Infusion Complex, an innovative concentration of precious oils, fused to create a smooth-glide effect. Fully coats lips on contact with smooth, saturated, semi-matte style.”

All shades are named after the ’70s counterculture phenomena. There are 13 shades, shown is No 54.

Lancome L’Absolu Rouge

One of my favourite lipstick range ever, so I am very excited about the re-launch of the line with a tonnes new shades, all of them being created by Lisa Eldridge they just have to be killer. These are not yet out but Lancome is available from:

Lipstick Week: Current Top 3 and a Wish List

To finish our Lipstick Week I’ve decided to feature my current top 3 lipsticks and share the top 3 that are on my wish list.

I’ve made myself choose lipsticks in different colour families, so here are: plum, red and pink. I don’t like orange, nude or any other shades that much.

Since I have already reviewed each lipstick, I have just included the links. I also have to mention that Clarins was recently reformulated, and the new version is even better!
