Now that I have been using Sally Hansen’s Insta Dri for quite a long time, I want to share my impression.
I wanted to try a new top coat and decided to choose one from the brand. They actually had a lot of different options, but I’ve chosen this one, since I’ve heard good things about it. And also…I love red.
I am painting my nails at least twice per week. I find that nice manicure not only never fails to improve my mood but also somehow increases my productivity. How can you not be productive with red nail polish on?
But there is one product that I often neglected in the past – base coats. A good base coat should make your nail polish last longer, protect the nails from staining, make them smoother, which would make the nail polish application easier, and maybe even strengthen them.
However, I wasn’t pleased with any base coats I have tried in the past, they took forever to dry which made the whole process longer, and
Since I wasn’t very happy with my base coat, the brand’s Double Duty Base & Top coat seemed like a good option to try, too.
While I was browsing the nails section, I thought about getting some new
It’s cold today and snow is everywhere (which makes me happy) so I thought that it’s a perfect time for a dark blue nail polish.
The only dark (well, relatively) blue which I have is Sally Hansen Blue It so I’ve decided to wear it today. I have to say that it is an amazing colour, I only wish it stayed on my nails for a longer time.
I am wearing one layer of nail polish and a Seche Vite top coat. I should have used 2 layers but it looks ok with 1 layer in real life, I guess it looks kind of streaky because of the flash. By the way you can actually see the snow on the background.
And what nail polish are you wearing this week?
So the question of the week was ” What are your favourite nail polish shades?!”.
Thank you everyone for taking a part! I really love when you share with us all!
This is how my little brother painted the nails of his girl for the first time in his life.
You can see some black lines near the pastel and light shades because originally he used the black nail polish but then removed it (not completely as you can see).
If you are interested in the colours he used: butter LONDON Yummy Mummy, Illamasqua Viridian, Sally Hansen Blue It, Maybelline Wonder Violet, Essence Undead?, Illamasqua Alarm, Inglot #949 ,Barry M Berry Ice Cream not sure about this one, Maybelline Coconut Crystals.
