I have posted about the new beauty purchases a month ago, and I am ready to share my impression about some of the products, starting with Yves Rocher Mango Coriander Energizing Body Lotion.
I am actually a big fan of the brand’s body lotions but they’ve changed the scents (and the formula?) a bit, and I really fell in love with the mango/coriander one.
For some reason a lot of people can’t stand coriander but I have nothing against it, at all. And combined with mango – it smells incredible. Energizing is a spot on name for this lotion, as coriander brings sharpness, freshness and spiciness to the otherwise sweet and juicy mango. I simply adore this fragrance, and I did get a
Regular readers may know that I am the biggest fan of blackberry scented beauty products. I adore Blackberry (Mure Sauvage) range from Yves Rocher ever since one of my friends got me the spray about 8 years ago. I also love Jo Malone’s Blackberry and Bay cologne, it is truly one of my favourites.
This is why I’ve decided to get myself a blackberry scented body lotion from Yves Rocher last week.
Body creams, lotions, butters and oils are my thing, I have tonnes of them in my bathroom. But this is the one I have been using everyday ever since I’ve bought it. And let me tell you why.
It has a light texture which is exactly what you want during the summer heat. It melts into the skin, leaving it feeling moisturized (it contains sweet almond oil and shea butter) and
Oils are a necessity for me, beauty-wise, especially in AW period. My skin is very dry, and during the cold months it is flaky and sore. And I do love my daily hot shower which dries out the skin even more. But I just can’t help it. The relaxing and anti-stress effect [of a hot shower] is very important for me.
This is why I’ve decided to get some shower oils. I have started with Yves Rocher Oriental Shower Oil .
And it is really lovely indeed. It has a subtle oriental scent, as the name suggests. The way it looks and smells – it reminds me of honey. My favourite way of using it is to apply to the skin directly. It turns into milk when contacted with water, and leaves the skin smelling divine, and feeling softer and more moisturized than after a regular gel. I still
Last week I have published a sweet mini wish list, and I have actually already bought several products during the weekend.
I really wanted a shower oil because regular showers gels just dry our my skin in this cold weather. I’ve bought Yves Rocher Oriantal Shower Oil, and so far I really like the delicate but nice scent and that my skin is definitely not so dry afterwards. By the way, I was highly recommended Ella Bache shower oil. I’ve never heard of the brand, to tell the truth, but I will find it on-line.
I have also bought Caudalie Overnight Recovery Oil for dry and
I’ve picked up the Yves Rocher’s Nutritive Vegetal Velvety Toner for Dry and Very Dry Skin several weeks ago because I’ve heard some amazing things about it, and wanted to try a new toner anyway.
And it did not disappoint.
It is a great transitional product from cleanser to serum/oil/moisturizer/whatever you use next. I like how it calms, soothes my skin, and leaves it soft. Plus it doesn’t irritate or dry it out, even when it’s very cold outside.
I don’t really know what else is there to say about a toner, besides that it smells nice and I like the cheerful orange colour of the bottle.
If you have
