Mascara is probably the makeup product. And usually even those ladies who are not into makeup love themselves some mascara so I’ve decided to dedicate this week to mascaras, and we will start with looking at my all time favourites. I’ve selected six: five black and my all time favourite colourful mascara.
Here we go:
- Chanel Le Volume de Chanel Mascara in 10 Noir Review
- Dior DiorShow Extase Mascara review)
- Smith & Cult Lash Dance Mascara Review
- YSL Faux Cils Mascara Review
- HOURGLASS Caution Extreme Lash Mascara review
A few of these are a cult classic, and for a reason, I must say. Hourglass mascara was launched relatively recently but it took the beauty world by storm. Smith and Cult is the
Back in the days my hair care routine was washing my hair with a high street shampoo. That was it. Literally. I did not even own a hair brush. Yes, I am not exaggerating. But we are talking like 15 years ago. My brother was always very unimpressed, and was telling me to change things for years, and gradually I’ve started investing time, effort and money, ahem, in my routine. And it really pays off. I even took vitamins!I do get compliments for my hair these days but, most importantly, I am pleased with the way it looks myself.
As you would imagine, now my routine is quite extensive. And while there are still a few products that I want (like this Aquis (Amazon/ Amazon UK) hair turban which is supposed to be amazing!), I am pretty pleased with everything I am using, and should probably write about it at some point.
But today I want to tell you about two things that I’ve added to my routine recently. They are both very extra but I really like them.
I’ve been reading about how good vinegar is for your hair for ages but quite frankly I did not
I haven’t posted a “New Purchases” feature in ages because I haven’t really been buying beauty products lately, but here is finally a round-up of my newest picks (which I have already posted at my Instagram).
Clarins Gentle Foaming cleanser for dry or sensitive skin
I have posted about Clarins cleansers and toners, and about to publish the second part. This is actually the only Clarins cleanser (suitable for my skin type) that I haven’t tried yet, so it was about time. So far, I enjoy using it so expect a feature.
Clarins Day Screen Multi-Protection SPF 50
This is a must have product in my daily skincare routine, in fact, I have
I have posted about the new beauty purchases a month ago, and I am ready to share my impression about some of the products, starting with Yves Rocher Mango Coriander Energizing Body Lotion.
I am actually a big fan of the brand’s body lotions but they’ve changed the scents (and the formula?) a bit, and I really fell in love with the mango/coriander one.
For some reason a lot of people can’t stand coriander but I have nothing against it, at all. And combined with mango – it smells incredible. Energizing is a spot on name for this lotion, as coriander brings sharpness, freshness and spiciness to the otherwise sweet and juicy mango. I simply adore this fragrance, and I did get a
Regular readers may know that I am the biggest fan of blackberry scented beauty products. I adore Blackberry (Mure Sauvage) range from Yves Rocher ever since one of my friends got me the spray about 8 years ago. I also love Jo Malone’s Blackberry and Bay cologne, it is truly one of my favourites.
This is why I’ve decided to get myself a blackberry scented body lotion from Yves Rocher last week.
Body creams, lotions, butters and oils are my thing, I have tonnes of them in my bathroom. But this is the one I have been using everyday ever since I’ve bought it. And let me tell you why.
It has a light texture which is exactly what you want during the summer heat. It melts into the skin, leaving it feeling moisturized (it contains sweet almond oil and shea butter) and
