Summer makeup collections are about to pop up in the shops, and quite a few bronzers are already available online, so here is a preview.

YSL Solar Pop Bronzing Stones Collector Palette, $55 from Barney’s

YSL’s bronzer is inspired by the vibrant colors and exotic adventure of a jungle safari, it is cloaked with a  snake skin effect, and has a fire-colored logo. The bronzer itself is matte.

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Illuminating Powder Gelée, $45 from Bergdorf Goodman.

According to the brand, it smoothes on as a soft sheen and

New Shades of Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat. Plus Tips from Lloyd Simmonds

The cult product Touche Eclat which was originally launched in 1992,  is now available in several shades.

I actually really like this part of the press release: “Golden radiance, inspired by sunlight, and developed to reveal a woman’s most precious quality.”

As you probably know,  Touche Eclat a concealer, corrector and highlighter in one product. I also like the idea that you can use a darker shade for contouring on fairer complexions, or a lighter shade for highlights on darker skintones.  I will have to try that out.

Here is a preview of the newest releases from Origins and Yves Saint Laurent.

If you are a fan of Origins, you’d be happy to find out that the brand just launched a totally new range – Drink Up Hydrating Lip Balms (£16).

These are formulated with  aloe vera to soothe, apricot kernel and avocado oils to nourish,  complex of orange peel, barley and wheat germ to help protect against future dryness.  Sounds promising, right?

There are quite a few new lip products for Spring 2014. And there is nothing like a new lipstick (or a gloss), right? Especially with the VDay just around the corner. For some reason I am excited about it this year, whhaaaat?!

This season YSL’s  Summer Escape, inspired by the boundless freedom and adventure that is promised from a journey through the desert, is a well edited collection with the expected  blue and gold shades, along with pink glosses for the lips.
