SS16 Beauty Picks: Urban Decay, Lancome, YSL and Too Faced

With so many new launches, I’ve decided to highlight those that caught my attention, so here is a preview of the new products for the complexion, eyes and lips that I think look amazing.

Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Eye Shadow Collection, $36 available from Sephora and Too Faced from the end of February.

I personally am a big fan of Too Faced eye shadows and these look beautiful and fun. The shades are:

  • Bananas( Soft Peachy Gold with Fine Gold Shimmer), Peanut Brittle( Metallic Burnt Orange), Jammin’ (Dark Chocolate with Golden Sparkle)
  • Extra Creamy  (Matte Creamy Beige), Jelly ( Vibrant Orchid), Nuts About U (Matte Brown with Red).

YSL  Touche Éclat Neutralizer Colour Corrector (£25 from Harrods)

Several brands, including BECCA launched colour neutralizing products, and YSL released their cult Touche Eclat (I adore it, BTW) in three colour correcting shades:

It will be easier to say what brand is not bringing out a new foundation/base product for SS16 (a lot of cushions and foundations with a dropper). But I am personally most excited about BECCA, hands down. They just know what a good base is and they always deliver.

YSL Boho Stones Makeup Collection for Spring 2016

Are you ready for another Spring 2016 makeup collection preview? This time it is YSL  Boho Stones  with Edie Campbell on the promo, with the jade and pink being the core shades.

Luxurious Mascara (£25) is now available in jade and pink. There are also matching La Laque Couture (£19) nail polishes in 69 Love Pink and 70 Peace Green.

SS16 Luxury Eye Shadows: Tom Ford, Chantecaille, Cle de Peau

I have already posted about some new lipstick launches  but what about the eye shadows? Here is a selection of the most luxurious ones: Cle de Peau, Chantecaille and Tom Ford.   Cream or powder, single or palette – the choice is yours. Let’s take a look.

Cle pe Peau are launching brand new Cream eye color solo – ombre crème solo ($45 / 6g) which are “dewy cream eye shadow that transforms into a silky powder”, and they look gorgeous. I wonder what is the shade of that burgundy one from Lucia Pieroni’s Insta photo.  Is it 301? Probably, not.

Burberry just released a killer new beauty collection Velvet & Lace. And that look with a strong lip and  a natural skin… I think it is perfection, and Wendy Rowe (Artistic Consultant Burberry, MUA who created it) just rocks! If you are  not a fan of pastels, this is the way to go for Spring. Plus, there are so many brand new exciting products.
