Get The Look: Emily Blunt at the Looper Premier

I love Emily Blunt, a lot. If you are a long-time reader you probably know that she is my girl crush.  Does she ever look bad? I really love getting the details about her makeup looks.

So here she is at the  the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of Looper on Thursday, September 6.

Emily was wearing mauve Roland Mouret dress and her makeup was done by a makeup artist Jenn Streicher.

This summer I have enjoyed Salmon Fishing in the Yemen and The Five-Year Engagement with her and I can’t wait for the new films with her.  Besides Loper, there is also Arthur Newman with Colin Firth!

But back to makeup, here is how you can get Emily’s look:

 Skin

Jenn began by using SK-II Skin Signature Cream and La Mer The Eye Concentrate.

She then primed the complexion with Hourglass No. 28 Primer Serum, and followed with Hourglass Veil Fluid Makeup in shade no. 1.5 nude. Hourglass Hidden Corrective Concealer was utilized in two different shades. Jenn used Fair, a light shade, around the nose and as a highlighter, and Pearl, a slightly darker shade, under the eyes.

 Cheeks

Jenn applied Hourglass Superficial Waterproof Bronzer all over the

Get The Look: Keira Knightley at Anna Karenina Premiere

I love getting the details about the  products that were used to create a celebrity’s ( I like) makeup look. So I was was excited to get the details about Keira Knightley’s look for the  premiere of Anna Karenina which was yesterday, September 4th.

I also love the fact that this look was created by Lisa (Eldridge) whom, as you definitely know by now, I love.

Lisa’s inspiration for the look was Keira’s dress and she wanted to create a soft, pale makeup with romantic feel. She also wanted to add some strength around the eyes so that the beautiful actress would not look washed out.

Face

‘Lisa started with a flawless base using Perfection Lumière Foundation in 10 Beige applied with a brush and buffed into the skin. She also applied the concealers Éclat Lumière in 20 Beige Clair and Lift Lumière Concealer in 10 Beige around Keira’s eyes and on the high points of her face to highlight. After a light dusting of Poudre Universelle Libre in 20 Clair, Lisa went onto the eyes.

For cheeks Lisa dusted Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Rose Initiale mainly to the apples of the cheeks for a fresh flush of colour.

 Eyes

Lisa began with a perfect liquid line along the upper lashes using Ecriture De Chanel in Noir. She softened this using the powder shadow Ombre Essentielle in Ebony. At the outer corner she lifted and elongated the liner into a small kitten flick.

Lisa washed a mixture of Ombres Contraste Duo in Gris–Subtil across Keira’s eyelid, mixing it until it was

PINK is the New CoverGirl Face

Face of the brand… Is it a big deal for you? Does it influence you? I have to say that for me it’s, obviously, not the most important thing but I’ve realized that it does influence me.

I am personally extremely excited to see that P!nk  is the new face of CoverGirl.  I have always loved her and actually have all her albums, she is an exception when it come to popular music, she is definitely not like the others.

Pat McGrath and Pink? Yes, please!

Beauty Inspiration of July: Maria Valverde

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted a ‘beauty inspiration’ post. But I don’t like posting unless I truly like someone. Plus it takes me forever to choose the photos I like the best.

Today I want to show you my new girl crush – Spanish actress Maria Valverde, 25, who looks everything a woman should, in my opinion.

I think she is extremely beautiful and can pull of  so many looks.

I also love most of her fashion choices.

Besides being so flawless and stunning, she is also a great actress. I haven’t seen that many films with her so far but I really enjoyed everything I have seen. I plan to watch ALL her films now!

I also like the fact that she is not super famous Hollywood actress that everyone is talking about…

This is the kind of red I love, too.

And here is how she looks with

Beauty Inspiration and Photos of the Week Vol. 4

This post is basically a mix of everything that inspired me this week and about the things that I loved.

I am totally obsessed with Jennifer Lopez’s makeup for V magazine. Those brows, contoured cheeks and gorgeous eye makeup, just WOW!

I had to make a screenshot of this scene from the last Game Of Thrones episode (season 2). Don’t worry, it’s not s spoiler, it was not for real but because of magic, unfortunately.

Avocado has been on my top food list for the last several weeks. Here is a simple sandwich  with avocado, tomato, salmon and cheese. And on the other photo, it’s a salad with avocado, tomatoes, fried Camembert.

You probably already know that I have a thing for red eye makeup. This is the one I am in love right now
