We all love personalised approach when it comes to everything including beauty, don’t we? This is why it is awesome to see brands having that approach. I am personally a fan of Concoction hair care brand, and now it is awesome to see Clarins and their Boosters.
What are these?
Clarins Boosters are basically high-concentrated formulas which are created for a certain concern. You simply add several drops to the cream of your choice. There are three options to choose from:
- Tones are re-energises the skin
- Minimises signs of fatigue
- Revives radiance
- Reduces feelings of discomfort
- Optimises skin strength
- Minimises the appearance of redness
Considering that Aromatherapy Associates Soothing Cleansing Balm is one of the best cleansers I have ever used, it is surprising that I have not written about it earlier.
This cleanser has a lovely formula that works great for an evening facial massage, it is not greasy or tacky, just a nice balmy texture. The product doesn’t have a strong overpowering scent, it smells of camomile to me.
I personally take off my makeup with a micellar water first, and then use this lush cleanser, as I’d rather massage my skin with it, instead of taking off my mascara (which you can obviously do, if you want to).
It works great for
I’ve wanted to try EOS products for a long time but for some reason never got around getting anything but this month I have finally purchased their hand lotion which I’ve shared on my Instagram to carry around with me.
Funnily enough, right after that, one of my best friends (she is not even into beauty) gave me a book she thought I’d love and an EOS lip balm which was a very cool surprise. Now, that I have both, I am ready to share my thoughts.
As for the hand lotion, the one I have is Berry Blossom but you can also get Cucumber (green) and Fresh Flowers (blue). The first thing that you notice is how comfortable the shape of the tube is, it fits the hand perfectly, what a great design. It is also a perfect size to carry around with you in the handbag, as it is only 44 ml.
The formula, it is awesome, too. Although I personally love heavier textures, this lotion is light and non-greasy but still moisturizing, I use it several times per day, and it keeps my hands soft and smooth, and smells great. I will be
I haven’t been to LUSH in some time so I’ve decided to go and get something as a part of my Birthday treat. I’ve picked up one Christmas set with a big discount (obviously) and Rub Rub Rub.
I haven’t tried the Northern Lights soap yet but I’ve used other products several times already and want to share my opinion.
Rub Rub Rub
I personally really loved this scrub as it is such a multi-purpose product. You can use it as a scrub on a dry body, mixed with water as a scrubbing shower gel for a more gentle effect or as… shampoo!
Although it does say that you can use it on your hair I don’t think I would ever do it unless a recommendation from a friend. And, wow, I was actually really impressed with the results.
Actually when I’ve asked a lady at LUSH for her favourite product – she pointed at Rub Rub Rub. And it is lovely. Leaves the body soft and clean when used as a scrub and leaves the hair shiny and light when used as a shampoo.
The only minus is that it won’t last you for a very long time. I am through half of the bottle in less than a month. I will definitely re-purchase this product at some point.
Do you have a Lush scrub recommendations?
This is actually a seasonal shower gel but
So today I want to show you my two newest loves, both were gifts from my friends which is very sweet of them. One was brought to me from Canada, and the other one from the USA.
I used this one mostly during the winter, as it is very nourishing and quite thick formula-wise (check out all the butters and oils in the ingredients list). I honestly think this is one of the
