I wanted to get something luxurious for my body the other day and I’ve decided to try something from Omorovicza as I’ve heard nothing but good things about the brand.
I’ve decided to get a Gold Shimmer Oil which looks like this before you shake it well to mix the oil with the shimmer.
And here is how it looks like after…
This oil comes in a nice glass bottle with an elegant minimalistic design. As for the oil itself -it smells amazing (I think it’s mainly calendula), absorbs quickly and leaves the skin feeling moisturized, soft and smooth. It is a perfect product for summer as it gives an amazing glow on a tanned skin. I absolutely love using it on my arms and legs, it gives a beautiful illuminating/ glamorous (if you prefer) effect.
Here is the list of the ingredients and extended information about some of them from the official website:
I have got this Malin + Goetz set at Zuneta for £20 as for myself as a Christmas gift. But it looks like that the kit is no longer available. But I am still going to let you know my impression as you can always get each product on its own.
I just love getting different kits with mini products as it’s a great way to try the brand without braking the bank.
So what do you get?
- Grapefruit Face Cleanser (full size 236 ml – £ 25)
- Vitamin E Face Moisturiser (full size 118 ml – £ 36)
- Vitamin B5 Body Moisturiser (full size 236 ml – £28)
- Bergamot Body Wash (full size 236 ml – £ 15.50)
- Cilantro Hair Conditioner (full size 236 ml – £16.50)
- Peppermint Shampoo (full size 236 ml – £ 16)
First of all I have to say that I absolutely love the design, I think it’s brilliant. And this kit was very useful when I was travelling.
I absolutely loved the shampoo and I would probably re-purchase it although I find that it is very expensive (236 ml – £ 16 and 473 ml for £ 30). I adore the fresh mint scent and it reminds me of mint sweets that I love. I find that it is very refreshing for summer and this shampoo is just a pleasure to use.
As for the hair conditioner – I really dislike cilantro which is also known as coriander so I can’t say that I’ve enjoyed using this conditioner as it has a strong scent of coriander. I’d rather put a conditioner with other scent, really.
The face wash is
After being really impressed with the Neutrogena’s Norwegian Formula Concentrated hand cream (just got the second one) I’ve decided to get some other products from the range. So I’ve got myself the Deep Moisture Comfort Balm and the Cracked Heel Foot Cream.
And these are nice, I like the smell and the texture but unfortunately, the body balm is not enough for my very dry skin. I guess I should try using the hand cream all over the body as I love the concentrated formula.
As for the foot cream, although my feet are not cracked, they are kind of rough and this cream makes them softer just after I’ve used it. But I can’t say if the effect is long lasting since I gave it away to my grandma who is 70+ and who has a lot of problems with her feet. She told me that her feet are in a bit better condition after using this cream but since she used it only for 3 times I think it’s too early to talk about the healing but I will ask her about the results later.
So in general, these products are not bad especially for the price but the hand cream is definitely my favourite. I still want to try more Neutrogena products in the future so maybe you can share you favourites with me?
I’ve already written about my favourite makeup products and even nail polishes of 2010 but what about skincare you may ask? The brand of the year for me was definitely Elemis. All the products that I’ve tried this year were nice and some were just amazing.
I ADORE the Exotic line for the body. The Salt Glow, Frangipani melt and the shower cream are just amazing = perfection. The body lotion (I have a travel size) is nice but it’s not my favourite. The Milk Bath is divine, you can read about it here.
I dream about the perfume which smells like the moisture melt and I was really hoping that the Exotic perfumes smell like it but unfortunately (for me) they don’t. But my Mama is crazy about this scent.
I’ve been also loving Elemis face care products. I already
I like writing about the products that I really love. And today I am going to write about one of them. And I am talking about Elemis Skin Nourishing Milk Bath.
Now I just like how it is described:
“Highly acclaimed, this Luxury Milk Bath has a unique formula that captures the essence of Cleopatra’s ancient bathing ritual. Its milk protein base is rich in nourishing vitamins, amino acids and minerals. Elemis Skin Nourishing Milk Bath contains natural plant collagen from Oat Extract and Japanese Camellia Oil to feed the skin whilst keeping it soft and supple. Skin Nourishing Milk Bath is excellent for irritated, sensitive and excessively dry skin conditions.”
And now some of my thoughts:
I visit dermatologist quite often because I have very dry skin. I actually have to live near the sea all the time to have better skin but we will skip this part… So she recommended me to add milk and a spoon of olive oil in my bath to make the condition of my skin a bit better. I say a bit because, unfortunately, there is nothing than can be done here, I’ve had this problem all my life.
I was very happy to discover this Milk Bath by Elemis which
