If you follow me on Twitter, you know that I am on a mission #BeautifulHealthyHair. I have already spent a lot of effort (and money) on that, and I can definitely see the results. My hair dresser agrees, which makes me extremely happy…
I was actually sent Pantene’s Breakage Defence products back in Autumn, and decided to give it a try several weeks ago. This is the range after which you should experience 97% less hair fall. And I have shampoo, conditioner and hair strength tonic.
I have to say that my hair is in a much better condition, but it’s due to a lot of factors (I should probably write about my experience in several weeks), but I do like this range. If you are looking for an affordable and nice hair products – these are worth considering.
Shampoo smells really nice, washes the hair throughly, and there is no need to wash it after a day, which I absolutely hate, and which often happens to me with cheap(er) hair products. I think this is one of the best shampoo in this price range that I have tried.
I was sent these cool hair chalks to feature them for the festival season but completely forgot to use them on my blonde baby cousin who was visiting with my aunt back in summer (I live far away from most of my family), and take any photos, and then I forgot about this feature, until now. I saw the draft sitting in my inbox this week, and thought it would be a good time to mention the Pixie Lott Paint Hair Chalks, as they may be a great addition to your Halloween costume.
I was obsessed with the idea of the hair chalks, and even bought myself this Anastasia Hair Powders a while ago. And it is really fun, and easy to use. You basically just apply the chalks and set them with a hair spray, but there are detailed instructions and tips on the packaging anyway.
As you can see, this is
Last Tuesday I was invited to a wedding. This is how my mani and lips looked like. But what about my hair? I just wanted it to be straight and shiny. My hair is staright and shiny but I wanted it to look better than usual. So I thought that it’s time to get some shine spray.
I’ ve tried several “shiny” products for hair but what was the result? My hair became greasy and oily very soon and I had to wash it on the next day. But I still wanted to try something out so I went shopping and found this !I really like Nutri-Gloss Light Shampoo (read review here) so I wanted to give a try to this spray. Plus it is not expensive.
This is what is written about this spray. Information is from L’Oreal’s website.
Is your mid to long hair fine, or does it tend to get greasy? Does it need a light weight spritz to give it shine, and leave it instantly detangled?
The L’Oréal laboratories have developed Elseve Nutri-Gloss Light Conditioning Shine Spray. A leave-in shine enhancing conditioner you can use everyday, in a spray that’s light and quick to use. Weightless Detangling, Mirror Shine – Cashmere Touch.
Your hair is instantly detangled and manageable: combing is easy! Perfectly nourished, the fibre captures and reflects light. Your hair feels soft and light, with mirror like shine.
So light, can be used as a conditioning boost: On damp hair after washing with shampoo & conditioner, or instead of regular conditioner depending on hair condition. On dry hair, with a light spray to tame hair between washes or on the go! No need to rinse. Can be used every day for daily gloss.
So did I like the effect and is it really true?
It’s time for June’s favourites, and somehow this time it is all about Clarins. I have bought quite a few products from the brand and have been sent some samples, and most products were incredible. After all it is one of my favourite brands for a reason. There are also two beauty tools, self tanning drops and bath salts.
Here we go.
Let’s start with makeup, as there are only two products that really stood out to me. Technically three, but two are the same product just different shades. Clarins Blush & Bronzing Compact (review and swatches) my love for this bronzer is still going strong. Now that I have a tan it looks amazing on, warms up the complexion and adds some definition.
As for the Clarins Waterproof Eyeshadow Shimmering Cream Colour (review and swatches) they are phenomenal, as I’ve already said. Extremely long-lasting and incredibly beautiful on the eyes. Just make sure you don’t apply too much, as they can look a bit dry. I’ve been wearing 03 Silver Taupe at the end of May and beginning of June when I still had a very pale complexion but now 04 Copper Brown is my favourite. It looks perfect now, am I a bronze goddess already?
I have got this Malin + Goetz set at Zuneta for £20 as for myself as a Christmas gift. But it looks like that the kit is no longer available. But I am still going to let you know my impression as you can always get each product on its own.
I just love getting different kits with mini products as it’s a great way to try the brand without braking the bank.
So what do you get?
- Grapefruit Face Cleanser (full size 236 ml – £ 25)
- Vitamin E Face Moisturiser (full size 118 ml – £ 36)
- Vitamin B5 Body Moisturiser (full size 236 ml – £28)
- Bergamot Body Wash (full size 236 ml – £ 15.50)
- Cilantro Hair Conditioner (full size 236 ml – £16.50)
- Peppermint Shampoo (full size 236 ml – £ 16)
First of all I have to say that I absolutely love the design, I think it’s brilliant. And this kit was very useful when I was travelling.
I absolutely loved the shampoo and I would probably re-purchase it although I find that it is very expensive (236 ml – £ 16 and 473 ml for £ 30). I adore the fresh mint scent and it reminds me of mint sweets that I love. I find that it is very refreshing for summer and this shampoo is just a pleasure to use.
As for the hair conditioner – I really dislike cilantro which is also known as coriander so I can’t say that I’ve enjoyed using this conditioner as it has a strong scent of coriander. I’d rather put a conditioner with other scent, really.
