Today I want to tell you about a hair product that I really love, and mentioned several times already, but never reviewed properly – Leonor Greyl Serum de Soie Sublimateur Nourishing Hairstyling Serum.
This is a serum that is silicon free and contains silk proteins and vegetable oils so, not only it gives instant effects, but makes a difference in your hair with time.
So, why do I love it so much?
It really gives that “wow effect”, it seems like this serum is all-in-one product. It makes the hair look glossy, shiny and smooth. And it feels nourished, soft and frizz-free, without weighting the hair down or
It’s about time I write about my beauty favourites of 2012, right?
I am sorry that it took me absolutely ages to get around. I really loved reading such type of posts and watching such type of videos.
So, hopefully, you will like my list, too.
I will start with perfume and hair care, as these are the shortest categories (for me).
Molecule 01 by Escentric Molecules
There was a lot of hype around this product this year and I have to admit that I am a fan, too. You can read all the details about this fragrance here.
Jo Malone Blackberry and Bay Cologne
I have realised that I really love blackberry note in my perfumes. Blackberry and Bay from Jo Malone was the scent I wore during my holiday in August and during all September so whenever I were it now, it makes me think of very nice moments in my life. As it was a Limited Edition, I only use it on the special occasions.
Illamasqua Freak Eau De Parfum
For me this is a super sexy scent, but it’s not over the top, plus it lasts really well on me. No wonder that people from Illamasqua are so proud of it. I have several samples but definitely have to get a full size.
Aromatherapy Associates Relax Candle
This has to be my favourite candle of 2012, as it does help to relax in the evening and is a high quality product. Read more about it here.
I’ve been using Philip Kingsley’s PK 4 HAIR vitamins for three months and have been seeing great results (will do a review later), so have decided to try the brand’s cult product which is Elasticizer.
I’ve got the smallest tube ( £12.25 for 75 ml), to see how I like it before getting a full sized product.
I don’t have damaged or colour treated hair to begin with, but I do see great results anyway. Although, you should leave it for 10-20 minutes, I usually leave it on for a longer time while I am doing some kind of work around the house ( I use it in the evening). And then shampoo, as usual.
Usually (90%) I let my hair dry naturally and don’t style it in any way but, once again, I can see that my hair is soft, shiny and in a great condition, as if I have just visited the salon! It is definitely so much better than most hair products I’ve tried before. I actually don’t use conditioners as don’t see any results, but this is very different.

Apivita Propoline Shampoo and Nourishing and Repairing Mask for Dry-Dehydrated Hair. Review and Photos
It’s time to tell you about more Apivita products that I loved, this time I want to tell you about about their shampoo and hair mask.
This is a range with honey and almond for dry and dehydrated hair which contains rosemary infusion instead of water and organic oils.
Although my hair is not dry or dehydrated, I was curious to try this range, as I’ve heard some amazing things about it.
First of all, I have to say that I really love the scent of both products, they do smell of honey. I have been using this shampoo for several months and I would say that it does make the hair soft and shiny. It does feel nourished without getting greasy and does not weight the hair down.
It should also protect the ends from splitting but I can’t make any comments on that as I try to get a hair cut every two-three months now, which is very regular for me ( I used to go once-twice per year; yes, I know).
Here are the ingredients but if you can’t see them properly, Apivita does list them all on the website. The price for 250 ml is €11.90.
I have been also
I was curious to try Moroccanoil for some time so was happy to get it as a sample with my HQHair.com order several months ago.
The small version which is 25 ml retails for £12.85 which means that 10 ml retails for £5.14. Although I’ve got only 10ml I’ve been using it for a long time already and still have more than a half left. It is because you literally need just a drop, unless your hair is really long of course.
I haven’t tried the original version but I am really loving this light one as it doesn’t leave my hair greasy at all. It is just very soft and shiny and that’s all with one drop!
