Another week, another shampoo review? Looks like that!
Today I want to show you Cowshed’s Cowlick Gentle Shampoo. I have picked up mine ages ago, back in September, I think, or even earlier and am already done with it.
This is actually a Sulphates (SLS, SLES, chemical which helps the product to foam) free shampoo, Cowshed use soapwort instead, but I did not even notice that when was getting it. I just needed a new shampoo and decided to try this one.
Unfortunately, Cowlick did not work that well for my hair. I am not sure what is the reason for that but I wasn’t very happy with the way it (hair) looked afterwards, wasn’t so smooth and shiny, as I’d like it to be. Plus I had to wash it earlier than I would like…
The things that I did love were the
I wanted to try SACHAJUAN products for a long time already, so picked up their Volume shampoo last month.
I am probably biased but I love everything Swedish & had hight hopes for it. And this shampoo did not let me down.
I love the clean and modern design of the bottle, the smell and the formula of this shampoo. It leathers nicely and leaves my hair & scalp clean and fresh without stripping it or building up.
It does give my hair some
I really wanted a good quality dry shampoo and, according to the positive reviews, Klorane Dry Seboregulating Shampoo with nettle extract had to be great!
And it is actually…
The product does make the hair look ‘fresh’ as if I have just washed it, doesn’t leave white residue on my dark hair and doesn’t make it look dull or grey. It (the hair) may not look as shiny as after the proper wash with a regular shampoo and conditioner/mask/oil/ whatever you use but the results are fantastic.
Plus it gives your hair some structure and adds volume. It ticks all the boxes for me!
This is a brilliant product for when you
Apivita Propoline Shampoo and Nourishing and Repairing Mask for Dry-Dehydrated Hair. Review and Photos
It’s time to tell you about more Apivita products that I loved, this time I want to tell you about about their shampoo and hair mask.
This is a range with honey and almond for dry and dehydrated hair which contains rosemary infusion instead of water and organic oils.
Although my hair is not dry or dehydrated, I was curious to try this range, as I’ve heard some amazing things about it.
First of all, I have to say that I really love the scent of both products, they do smell of honey. I have been using this shampoo for several months and I would say that it does make the hair soft and shiny. It does feel nourished without getting greasy and does not weight the hair down.
It should also protect the ends from splitting but I can’t make any comments on that as I try to get a hair cut every two-three months now, which is very regular for me ( I used to go once-twice per year; yes, I know).
Here are the ingredients but if you can’t see them properly, Apivita does list them all on the website. The price for 250 ml is €11.90.

I have got this Malin + Goetz set at Zuneta for £20 as for myself as a Christmas gift. But it looks like that the kit is no longer available. But I am still going to let you know my impression as you can always get each product on its own.
I just love getting different kits with mini products as it’s a great way to try the brand without braking the bank.
So what do you get?
- Grapefruit Face Cleanser (full size 236 ml – £ 25)
- Vitamin E Face Moisturiser (full size 118 ml – £ 36)
- Vitamin B5 Body Moisturiser (full size 236 ml – £28)
- Bergamot Body Wash (full size 236 ml – £ 15.50)
- Cilantro Hair Conditioner (full size 236 ml – £16.50)
- Peppermint Shampoo (full size 236 ml – £ 16)
First of all I have to say that I absolutely love the design, I think it’s brilliant. And this kit was very useful when I was travelling.
I absolutely loved the shampoo and I would probably re-purchase it although I find that it is very expensive (236 ml – £ 16 and 473 ml for £ 30). I adore the fresh mint scent and it reminds me of mint sweets that I love. I find that it is very refreshing for summer and this shampoo is just a pleasure to use.
As for the hair conditioner – I really dislike cilantro which is also known as coriander so I can’t say that I’ve enjoyed using this conditioner as it has a strong scent of coriander. I’d rather put a conditioner with other scent, really.
The face wash is
