Rouge Bunny Rouge Eyes Wide Open Brightening Liner Duo, Review, Photos, Swatches

I’ve been meaning to write the review of the Rouge Bunny Rouge Eyes Wide Open Brightening Liner Duo for a month or two, but I think that now, with their new A Cappella look released, it’s a perfect timing.

I LOVE multi-tasking products and this is a perfect example. This is a pencil with two ends – Highlighter and Brightener.

The Highlighter is a pearly milky white and the Brightener is a soft matte pink. It is suggested that you use the pearly shade under the eye brows and in the inner and outer corners of your eyes. And as for the Brightener – in the inner rim of your eye to make your eyes look more open and yourself look more beautiful as the result.

I really like the texture of both sides as they are soft enough to glide on the skin. I think it’s a perfect product for travelling as  it is so compact  and you can blend it with your fingers (so no additional brushes). Actually I use it with the fingers all the time.

The highlighter is a beautiful colour that gives a natural highlight to your eyes and face. RBR have gorgeous highlighters, but if you can also use this one  instead of your regular highlighter if you wish.

As for the brightener, you

Benefit Cosmetics Gilded Review and Swatches

Do you remember the fantastic Legally Bronze set by Benefit which was available at American Sephora for $35 (the value is $105)! So you save $70, amazing, right?! So guess what?! It’s back!!!

Last time when it was available a lovely friend from America was kind enough to get it for me. I’ve already reviewed Hoola Bronzer. I also plan to write a post about my fave liquid highlighters and High Beam is one of them. As for mascara, I’ve lost it somehow so there will be no review about it. But today I will tell you about the Gilded eye pencil from the set.

It’s a bronzy gold eye pencil which I personally use all over the lid. I’d even describe this colour as a bronzy melon which is beautiful especially if you have tan!

This is how is looks like

Illamasqua Precision Ink in Abyss and Alchemy. Review and Swatches

I’ve already posted a preview of Illamasqua’s Fall/Winter 2010 collection Art of Darkness and I told you that you can already get their Precision Ink for £16.50 at the Illamasqua website.

I always love to read how Illamasqua describes their products:

“Create looks with attitude that no one can ignore. Precision Ink’s fine tip allows for defined application. Long-lasting and waterproof its perfect for use anywhere on the face and body to bring out your bold side.  Available in deepest black, Abyss, and antique gold, Alchemy, the waterproof formula dries in seconds and stays true for hours.”

These are absolutely amazing, I love everything about them!

The colours are great, one can never have to many black liners as for the gold one – it’s very beautiful and I didn’t have a similar gold liner before (what a shame). And the colours are very pigmented, beautiful rich shades.

It’s easy to apply the liner with such  applicator. Even if you are not confident with liquid liners you can still try this one.

These stay on FOREVER, I mean it! Precision Ink stays on for

Laura Mercier Kohl Eye Pencils Review and Swatches

Laura Mercier’s  Kohl Eye Pencils are favourites of a lot of people and I can totally see why.

I have five (mini) pencils and would like to show them to you today.

The colours that I have are:  Black Violet, Brown Copper, Stormy Grey, Stone Slate and Black  Gold. And here is how they looks like.

These have a very soft and creamy texture and glide on easily, without dragging the skin.  They have a fantastic pay off and gorgeous colours. Yes, the colours are definitely fantastic, all five of them! I imagine that blue and green shades are to die for, as well!

I would suggest kohl pencils for a quick smoky eye, you could use them on their own or with the eye shadows on top, looks great either way.

BECCA The Showgirl Palette Review and Swatches

After showing you a preview of BECCA’s Halcyon Days palette for SS2011 I thought I’d show you the palette which I have and which is called Showgirl Palette (£ 55/€69/$65)

“Enchant and bewitch with the Limited Edition Showgirl Palette from BECCA. A scintillating confection of glamorous shades for eye, lips, and cheeks, this convenient palette offers everything needed to get oh-so-gorgeous.”

The Showgirl Palette contains:

  • Lip & Cheek Crème – Hollyhock (berry)
  • Nude Lip Gloss – Parisette (soft pink)
  • Eye Colour Wash – Tulle (misty lilac)
  • Eye Colour Wash – Charmeuse (mushroom beige)
  • Eyeliner – Emmanuelle (dark brown)
  • Dual ended brush – eyeliner/eye shadow brush combination

Now this is  a pricey palette but the quality is exceptional in my opinion and it is much cheaper than getting the BECCA products individually so I think it is worth the investment.

Let’s take a look at all the products separately now.

Lip & Cheek Crème in Hollyhock. I usually use this  product on the
