Clarins lip balms/glosses are among my favourites and I rate them highly!
I have actually already written about all of the ranges the brand has, except the Prodige Gloss.
You can read about Instant Smooth Crystal Lip Balms, Colour Quench Lip Balms and my favourite Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector.
So now it’s time for Gloss Prodige (£15.50) and it’s the shade from the Spring 2013 collection which is called Water Lily.

As all other Clarins glosses, this one is very “balmy”, it feels very hydrating (the formula contains hyaluronic acid) and moisturizing on the lips, without being too heavy or sticky. I find that such formula/texture is perfect for cold weather, as it helps to keep my lips in a good condition.
Prodige Gloss comes in a beautiful package, very high-end, and has a sponge applicator that bends. This gloss has a strong fruity scent, which I personally like, but some may not. It is written that it’s blackberry and

They already had a pink and peach shade (along with a clear one) which I have reviewed previously so you can read all the details, see swatches and ingredients.
I actually have both new shades and want to show them to you. They are called berry and plum, and I could not be happier with these shades, as you can imagine.

The one that is called berry is a sheer red and the plum on is a sheer Bordeaux. You can get an almost-there shade but can layer it up to get a more visible results.
I think it’s a great idea for those who are afraid of full on red or dark shades, plus it

Brightening Lip Gloss (£17/€24) in Moonlight Pearl and High Shimmer Lip Gloss (£17/€24) in Oyster.

Brightening Lip Gloss is described as sheer and highly reflective gloss. Although it may look a bit brownish in the tube, it looks nice on the lips and does give the brightening effect, in my opinion. It feels moisturising on the lips and smells of caramel to me. Such shade would look nice pretty much on everyone, especially paired with dark eye makeup.
High Shimmer Lip Gloss is described as a gloss with light-catching glitter. And this is a favourite of mine. I have so many glosses but this one made it to my personal makeup bag. It reminds me of Guerlain’s KissKiss 800 and Chanel’s Mica Glossimer which are

I have actually included it into my top 10 berry lipsticks for Autumn/Winter.
Here is how it looks like in the tube, vampy wine gloss.

I am absolutely in love with the colour, it is just perfect! But it took me some time for figure out if I liked the formula or not really. Since I have only one shade, it’s hard to say if all Lippys are like that or this only shade.
First of all, you lips must be in a perfect condition, otherwise, this shade will only make things look worse. Secondly, after experimenting, I’ve realized that it may be a good idea to use it over a lip primer (yeah, these days you can get pretty much everything; I do have one) or just a thin layer of foundation, or Touche Eclat, as I do.
It helps the gloss to go one more evenly without getting patchy.
With this shade it is very important that you don’t use it on-the-go and do spend some time, until it looks

It is a gloss which comes with a key chain with a floating picture. Mine is called Shopaholic and it’s about a girl addicted to shopping, obviously. As the brand says: “She slides into a boutique just to pick up a few small things. When she slides out of the store, the doorman is carrying all of her parcels.”

I am not a Shopaholic actually and do not use the key chain as I already have enough key charms on my keys. But I do like the idea of a key chain that comes with a gloss, would make a nice present. It is also a cool thing that all glosses have a key chain.
As for the colour – it is exactly the kind of soft milky baby pink that I love, this is my kind of ‘nude’. It gives a very subtle sheer shade and I usually wear several coats and I do like sheer and
