It’s not a secret that I love BECCA. Unfortunately, I don’t see that many reviews about this brand. I have quite a few products from this Australian brand and will be reviewing them for you.
I got my first BECCA product because of Lisa Eldridge (she is my guru and I trust all her advice). I loved it so much that I had to buy more, and more, and even more. And guess what? There are still several products that will be mine!
And today I am going to tell you about their Glossy Lip Tint. Mine is called Frappe.
“Glossy Lip Tint from BECCA is a long lasting translucent gloss that delivers radiant shine with a splash of colour. Use over lipsticks, lip crèmes and lip liners for added colour and shine. Frappe is a fresh and vibrant melon shade.
Deliciously scented with a hint of strawberry parfait, BECCA Glossy Lip Tint in Frappe is a luxurious formulation that delivers a silky-smooth, completely non-sticky tint with long-lasting shine. With an easy to use wand style applicator this conditioning lip tint is the most comfortable gloss you will ever wear.”
Why You May Like It

- It is very moisturizing and feels great on the lips
- I like the brush, that makes the application easy and accurate
- The design is lovely in my opinion and I like the design of all the BECCA products
- I love the effect that this lip tint gives: sheer but with colour, you can also get more colour by layering
- The product stays
Mary Kay® NouriShine® Lip Gloss, $ 13
Some of you asked me to write more reviews about Mary Kay. So here we go. This time I will review their lip gloss.
What is written about this gloss:
The subtle gold tones of this glitzy lip gloss will bring a trendy sheen to your lips. Formulated with enriching vitamins A and E, Mary Kay NouriShine Lip Gloss in Gold Rush smoothes, soothes and softens lips, helping restore a youthful appearance while antioxidants fight against wrinkle-causing free radicals. The formula is saturated with over 80 percent of moisturizers and conditioners to instantly hydrate lips. Plus, it’s fortified with antioxidants that help protect lips from everyday environmental stress. It feels as great as it shines and looks fabulous when worn alone or layered over Mary Kay Creme Lipstick.
To be honest I never liked Mary Kay lip products. I had different shades of this gloss but I gave away almost all of them. There is only one left and I have no idea what for. There are some great colours but I really don’t like how they all smell plus I don’t like the feeling when these glosses are on my lips. And they don’t stay on for a long time. But this is just my opinion, I know some ladies who like this gloss a lot. So here is the swatch of the only shade that is left. It’s called Gold Rust
I love multipurpose products especially with the beautiful design! And today I would like to tell you about one of them – Bunny Rouge Decadent Duos Joys and Desire. It is a liquid blush and a lip gloss 2-in-1. Mine is in Rumba Cubana and I’d describe the colour as a rosewood.
So you get a liquid blush with a small brush on one side and a lip gloss with an applicator on the other side.
I love liquid blushes and this one is amazing, it blends easily and is not patchy, it looks like your own blush. It is said that it’s an oil-in-water emulsion with rose-water to provide a cooling and toning effect for your skin.
As for the lip gloss, it has a nice moisturizing texture which is not sticky at all. It contains a soothing blend of Lotus Flower Extract and Mango Butter. Moreover, it’s also an anti oxidant and anti ageing formula because of Green Tea, and Gingko Biloba.
You should get this product if you:
Today I want to show you two lip products from Burt’s Bees: Super Shiny Lip Gloss in Zesty Red and Lip Balm in Pomegranate.
I think that their lip balms are already a cult product as so many people love them. I like mine, too. And as you can see, I always take mine with me so everything rubbed off (so I’ve also included a promo picture below).
The pomegranate lip balm makes my lips soft and moisturized, and works brilliant for the cold weather as it is easy to use and it’s not sticky. It also contains: açaí berry, vitamins A, C, D and E and healthy Omega oils which is great. The balm doesn’t really give any colour and you can use it on the go.
As for the Lip Gloss, it is a lovely product for those who want a benefit of a natural lip balm combined with some subtle colour.
I would not recommend applying it without a mirror as you may make a mess (or I manage to).
This is what is written about the Chanel Glossimers($27) on the official website:
A long-lasting, ultra-gloss look; intense colours and a perfect finish. The gel texture, fluid yet substantial, is easy to apply, giving a perfectly even finish. The smooth formula keeps your lips comfortable.
A gelling agent of mineral origin supplies fluidity and body. Esters ensure glide-on application and optimum evenness of the gloss. They provide smoothness and emollience. Syrupy organic polymers contribute to the lasting quality of the gloss. Contents : 5.5 g.
Outline the lips with a crayon in a natural shade, then apply. Can be used over your lipstick in the centre of the lips, to act as a highlight.
I have to say that this is one of my most favorite lip gloss! The smooth formula is just perfect for my lips and the gloss stays on for a long time! Here are swatches of 8 glossimers including 114 Amber Light which is a limited edition. I will write a detailed review with swatches on lips! So don’t miss it.
