Lips Of the Day: Hot Plum with Lancome and Stila

I have so many different lipsticks and lip glosses but for some reason I use the same products almost all the time so today I wanted to try something interesting – hot plum lips!

The reason why I’ve chosen purple is because mostly people write about neutrals, pinks, corals, reds and even browns but I don’t see that many swatches of purple.

For this look I’ve used2 products:

My 3 Most Favourite Pink Lip Glosses: Chanel, Paul & Joe, Rimmel

As many of you know it’s hard to call me a fan of pink but when it comes to pink glosses – I am  huge fan. So today I will tell you about my 3 most favourite lip glosses from different price categories.  I already reviewed all of them but will tell you  my thoughts here  with the link to a detailed review and swatches comparison.

1. Rimmel Mirror Shine Lip Gloss in Demure.

This is one of the best drugstore lip gloss in my opinion and I have a lot of different Rimmel glosses. This gloss has a beautiful baby pink colour with no shimmer in it.  Some of my girlfriends loved this gloss so much that they got the same for themselves. Read more and see swatches here

2.  Paul & Joe Lip Gloss in 003 Lustre

I got this gloss several months ago and I am very happy with it. Although it’s a bit darker that the other two it looks very pretty on the lips. It’s a pink gloss with a tiny amount of gold shimmer. The package is also very beautiful. Read detailed review and see lip swatches here.

Paul & Joe Lip Gloss in Lustre: Review and Lip Swatch

I’ve realized that I don’t post  that many information and reviews about Asian and Australian brands.  I will try to pay more attention to them and also to get more things for myself in the future.  And we will start today with Paul and Joe.  Although I came across a lot of reviews on the blogs that I read I’ve never been a fan of the brand for some reasons.

Sabrina has the best reviews about this brand on her blog The Beauty Look Book. She already has photos of summer collection so if you are a fan of  Paul & Joe – don’t miss it.

When I saw that Zuneta has a discount on these beautiful glosses I understood that it’s time to get some for myself. They were  only £ 8.18 instead of £ 14.30 so I had to get them. At first I wanted to get all of them but eventually got only one “just to try”

Look how beautiful they are

“When you spread this lip gloss onto your lips, you won’t notice a heaviness , as with other glosses. This plumping, thickening gloss glides on your lips with perfect smoothness. Once it’s on, it adheres firmly and adds an extra dimension that lasts and lasts.

001 Byzantine: A cool, sexy shade of brown and gold

002 Bullion: Bright yellow and gold with a luxurious shimmer

003 Lustre: Charming shades of pink and gold that project twinkling lights.”

So what is my opinion about the gloss?

Probably I am thinking stereotypes   but for me all (well almost all) makeup that is made in Japan = good quality.  But if to talk about this gloss

Juicy Tubes by Lancome: Review and Lip Swatch of my Favourite Shade

As you already know next month Lancome celebrates 10 years of Juicy Tubes so I thought that it would be nice to write a post with my impression about this amazing gloss!

This is what is written about Juicy Tubes:

“Ultra Shiny Lipgloss. Add power to your pout with brilliant shine. Dial up the glamour with shimmering color. Discover a favorite shade and flavor for every mood. Lips glisten with an ultra-glossy formula that glides on easily with its tube-tip applicator.”

Juicy Tubes glosses are so famous that almost every woman tried them or at least heard about them. Although Lancome has permanent collection of glosses there were so many  limited editions and so many different sets that it’s hard to count them all.  So today I will tell you my opinion about the gloss and will show you a lip swatch of my favourite shade from permanent collection  – Simmer.

The price is only $25 which is a great deal! Single lip glaze is $22, but I believe that you get a bigger gloss. So this is a great opportunity to try lots of differents shades.

Here you can see them all:

You can see that some glosses are opened and some are not yet. And I hope that you can see the brush.

Check out the swatches and why you should get (or don’t get) this set
