MakeUp4All AUTUMN 2011 Online Beauty Magazine

I have several products from a cruelty free BUAV approved  cosmetics line called BM Beauty to show you. You can read all the details about the brand, products and ideas behind them on the brand’s website.

On the photo below you can see: Mineral Lip Gloss  in Nude, Mineral Eye Shadows in Marble Sparkle  and Wolf Howl, Eyeshadow Brush 123 and Mineral Foundation in Naked.

I was actually surprised at how much I loved the line.  I like the affordable prices and the fact that there are not that many products so that you don’t get overwhelmed.

Out of the  five products that I have I loved the eye brush and the lip gloss the best so I will start my review with those products.

Eyeshadow Brush 123 (£8)

This is just a brilliant brush. I’ve actually added it to my personal brush collection and I use it a lot.

It  is an ‘oval shaped brush with densely packed, super soft fibres’. I love using it for the crease and for the blending the eye shadows on the lower lash line. I like it more that MAC Pencil Brush (219) for a more precise work but would not compare it to MAC Blending Brush (217) as 217 is bigger and fluffier so is better for blending.

BM Beauty 123 Brush is pretty firm so it gives you a lot of control. And it is only £8!  Brush length in total 150mm. Handle length 135mm. Bristle length 15mm. I am very impressed.

Mineral Lip Gloss in Nude (£12)

I have never tried a mineral lip gloss before so I have nothing to compare it with. However, I am really impressed with the BM Beauty one as I don’t own anything similar.

The formula is non sticky and  moisturizing, the colour is beautiful – it is a perfect nude which  gives a nice coverage. It’s the finish that I find interesting, it is glossy and

People always ask me for affordable and good products. So here is one of them – Garnier Simply Essentails 2 In 1 make Up Remover.

I’ve decided to give it a go because I’ve heard great things about it. And this makeup remover did not disappoint!

Although I did not try using it to remove waterproof makeup (only Anastasia’s  Lash Genius which was not a problem to remove) , it works great for removing my everyday makeup!  I find it gentle but effective, I don’t have to rub my face or eyes to remove the products.  Plus it doesn’t dry out my skin which is great.

So, yes, I would recommend it and would definitely re-purchase it myself.

I don’t remember the exact price, unfortunately, but found it on-line for £2.99 for 200 ml. What is not to like?

I am a huge Inglot fan  and I really love a lot of their products.  I have been to their counter last week to see the latest bronze collection in person as I was interested in eye shadows and also wanted to pick up some gel eye liners.

The eye shadows from the collection are: 605 p, 606p, 607p, 608 ds, 609 ds.

Here are the swatches, the first one is 607p.

Of course I had to get the

Here is the second lipstick that I’ve bought from the Kate Moss for Rimmel line. You can see the first one and my thoughts on the lipstick here.

This time I’ve picked a hot pinkish coral which is #13. If you want an orange shade, you should get #12.

Here is how the lipstick looks like  in the tube.

And here is the swatch. But for some

I know that I am ‘supposed’ to write about the sweet pastel shades as it is Spring…

But I just want to show you this set from Sleek which is still available (I’ve just checked) and which is their ‘Christmas collection’. I just had to get it as the colours are very beautiful!

This set is called the Berry collection, retails for £10/€12 and includes three berry products:

  • Fenberry blush, crimson rose
  •  Kohl Pencil  Mossberry, a deep burgundy
  • True Colour lipstick in Cranberry, a matte mulled wine  colour

Now I have pretty mixed feelings about this set. Although I LOVE it a lot, there are things that I don’t like that much.

Fenberry blush

This is my first blush from Sleek and I really like the quality: pigmentation, staying power and the shade are amazing. I am definitely getting more blushes from them in the future. Have you seen their amazing trio blushes?

Kohl Pencil Mossberry

This is actually  a wearable shade although it may look scary to some people. This liner was the main reason why I wanted the set to badly.  It is not the softest liner and it does not ‘glide on’ plus doesn’t have the most amazing staying power but I love it anyway. If you are afraid of the shade – try adding a thin black line on top and lots of mascara! It would look amazing on green eyes but I love it on my (brown) eyes, too.

True Colour lipstick in Cranberry

This is the lipstick that I was wearing for my Birthday which actually says a lot. I absolutely adore  the
