Today I would like to tell you about my favourite product by Illamasqua – their Cream Blusher in Rude.  What is written about:

Tease, hypnotise, use to effect. Highlight your cheekbones, shape your face, build and blend with fingers or a brush to create the colour intensity you desire. Use over foundation for impact, or under for a captivating glow. However you apply it, be daring.

So what do I like about it so much? Absolutely everything! All Illamasqua products have fabulous design.  The colour (I have Rude) is very pigmented & you’ll need just a tiny amount of it, so this blush would last you forever. It’s very easy to blend this blush and it looks amazing on all skin types. I really like how it smells . But what is the most important – the blush stays on for a very long time! And I have what to compare with.

The conclusion? This is my favourite product by Illamasqua and I would highly recommend you to try it! Check out how it looks like on the cheeks

We all are now waiting (ok, I am)  for the Alice palette from Urban Decay but why don’t we take a look at their Book Of  Shadows Volume II? This palette was $48 in the US and £24 in the UK.  I got my palette only last month but I am VERY happy with it. I love the design, the booklet with different looks (the purple one on the photo), the shadows, 24/7 liners  and primer potion. The best thing about it is that you can create so many looks with just a single palette and it’s the best product to get from Urban Decay if you’ve never tried their products before. Speaking of their products – I really love their Deluxe Eye Shadows and Revolution (red) lipstick and I will write about them soon.

I promised to write some reviews about my favourite products. So today I will write the review of my favourite lip gloss! And it’s Levres Scintillantes Glossimer by Chanel. Althougth I like Aqualumieres I like Glossimers better. I already made a post about Glossimers but here is the detailed review and lip swatches of one of my favourite shades – Mica. I’ve chosen Mica because this shade will look perfect on every woman!

This how the gloss looks like in real life + packaging. I say it’s absolutely gorgeous!

This is what Chanel writes about the gloss:

“A long-lasting, ultra-gloss look; intense colours and a perfect finish. The gel texture, fluid yet substantial, is easy to apply, giving a perfectly even finish. The smooth formula keeps your lips comfortable.

A gelling agent of mineral origin supplies fluidity and body. Esters ensure glide-on application and optimum evenness of the gloss. They provide smoothness and emollience. Syrupy organic polymers contribute to the lasting quality of the gloss. Contents : 5.5 g.”

As I already said this is my favourite gloss. Everything is perfect in it!

• The design is absolutely amazing.
• It really moisturizes your lips.
• It stays on for a very long time.
• It is perfect for every season because it protects your lips even better than some lip balms.
• Glossimer has a perfect  formula and finish and I love how it looks and feels on the lips.
• It is very easy to apply this gloss (it has an applicator while Aqualumiere has a brush).
• Unlike some glosses that look terrible on your lips when they are dry this gloss doesn’t have such effect. Moreover it helps you in this situation and makes your lips soft and smooth.

As I promised here is the first review of Illamasqua products. This time it’s liquid metal in Phenomena from the latest collection called Dystopia.

So what do I think:

I was very excited to try this product but I was a bit afraid because of the cold silver colour. I have warm brown eyes and I usually wear warm colours. But I totally loved how Phenomena looked on eyes! I felt in love with this product from the first sight. The design is amazing and stylish the products is very pigmented and you need a small amount so it will last you for a long time.  Plus I really loved how it smells (and it is very important for me).

My recommendations:

You can put it on with brush or just fingers. I’ve tried both ways and it’s very easy to use it with your fingers, so don’t worry.

Be careful when you put it on  and don’t touch anything if you put it on with your fingers because you may end up with glitter all over your face and clothes.

You can use liquid metal on your eyes, lips or somewhere else. I’ve tried it on my lips (on the balm) and it looked great!

A base is essential when you wear liquid metal because it will crease without a base. You can also put it on  a shadow. I would not recommend to put it all over your lid because it doesn’t look very nice at the end of the day.
