Foundation that made it’s début at Victoria Beckham’s (AW14) show; with the look created by Pat McGrath? Need I say more? I am in!
What foundation was that? Max Factor’s Skin Luminizer. I was sent one of the shades, so here are my thoughts:
The packaging is made of plastic, which may not look or feel so chic as my favourite, sadly discontinued Second Skin, but it is very handy for travelling and taking it with you, it is very light.
The pump is very well made, it dispenses even a very small amount of product so you don’t waste any.
What about the foundation itself?
It has a
I’ve realized that I don’t post that many information and reviews about Asian and Australian brands. I will try to pay more attention to them and also to get more things for myself in the future. And we will start today with Paul and Joe. Although I came across a lot of reviews on the blogs that I read I’ve never been a fan of the brand for some reasons.
Sabrina has the best reviews about this brand on her blog The Beauty Look Book. She already has photos of summer collection so if you are a fan of Paul & Joe – don’t miss it.
When I saw that Zuneta has a discount on these beautiful glosses I understood that it’s time to get some for myself. They were only £ 8.18 instead of £ 14.30 so I had to get them. At first I wanted to get all of them but eventually got only one “just to try”
Look how beautiful they are
“When you spread this lip gloss onto your lips, you won’t notice a heaviness , as with other glosses. This plumping, thickening gloss glides on your lips with perfect smoothness. Once it’s on, it adheres firmly and adds an extra dimension that lasts and lasts.
001 Byzantine: A cool, sexy shade of brown and gold
002 Bullion: Bright yellow and gold with a luxurious shimmer
003 Lustre: Charming shades of pink and gold that project twinkling lights.”
So what is my opinion about the gloss?
Probably I am thinking stereotypes but for me all (well almost all) makeup that is made in Japan = good quality. But if to talk about this gloss
I already made a preview of 5 black eye shadows that I like and NARS Single Eye Shadow in Night Clubbing was one of them.
I have to say that NARS eye shadows are one of the best shadows on the market and it is not only my opinion!
Why is it like that? Well, the answer is very simple, they are perfect!
What do I mean?! Here are only some reasons why you may like NARS shadows:
- They come in a great package, nice simple logo and an elegant black design.
- The pigmintation of the product is amazing, you need only a tiny amount of it.
- The shadows don’t smudge, crease or “magically disappear” from your lids.
- Great variety of colours and a lot of them are unique, I personally really like the shadows from “Night Serie”.
- It is a pleasure to work this these shadows: they are soft and it’s not a problem to blend them. You can also layer the shadows for more intense look.
- Honesly, I could go on and on because I can see only good things in this product.
And here is the Night Clubbing swatched.
I was given some products from Trish McEvoy’s Fall makeup collection to try out.
Here is what I have: Medium Refillable Double–Decker Compact £12/$18 with Soft Grey Eye Shadow £12/$16, Deluxe Eye Shadow in French Vanilla, Golden Bronzer, £22/$32, and Brush 62 Fan £28/$36.
I really like the Double-Decker Compact as I have already said. It is very convenient for storing your makeup. In the medium size you can have one blush and one bronzer, or four deluxe eye shadows, or eight eye shadows.
Unfortunately, I did not have time to schedule a review for today so here is a sneak preview of the products that I plan to review in the future.
I thought it would be better to post at least a photo instead of nothing.
The products are: terre D’Or Milky Perfume Cloud, Jo Malone Blackberry and Bay Cologne, Daniel Sandler glosses, Clarins face powder, Hourglass Lash Lacquer, Inglot eye shadows, Alessandro nail polish, Elemis eye serum.
