Makeup Addict Tag

I am sorry about the lack of updates, life and work got in the way, once again. It’s the end of the year, so things are a bit mental. It should be a lot better in January though..

But I saw this tag on Gio’s Beautiful With Brains blog, and I thought that’d be a good one for a little update.

Makeup for Makeup4all Hourglass Max Factor Chanel Becca Burberry Clarins Rouge Bunny Rouge

1. Which product do you still keep buying more of despite having plenty in your collection?

Red nail polish and pink baby pink lip glosses – those are my must haves, and I am always looking for a better option.

2. What is the one product that you can not live without?

I assume that we are talking about makeup, not beauty in general – so that’d be this brown eye pencil.

3. Favorite Makeup Brand?

It’s a very hard question. Maybe BECCA?

4. How big is your makeup collection?

I’d like to think that my personal makeup collection is not that big. But since I also do makeup in my free time, as a hobby and as an extra income – I do own more than I

Rouge Bunny Rouge Eyes Wide Open Brightening Liner Duo in Glacier Flower Review and Swatches

Since I’ve posted about the highlighters recently, I have realized that I haven’t mentioned  the new shade of one of my favourite Rouge Bunny Rouge products, their Eyes Wide Open Brightening Liner Duo yet, and it was launched several months ago.

I wrote a very detailed review of the original shade here, so this post will be more about comparing the two shades.

In a nutshell, this is a brilliant brightening and highlighting multi-tasking pencil with a creamy and smooth texture, it can be used both on the eyes, and face, I also tried mixing it with lip products.

The new shade is called GLACIER FLOWER and the

Carmex Moisture Plus in Plum and Berry Review and Swatches

If you are a fan of the original Carmex or their Moisture Plus, you’d be happy to find out that the brand brought out two new shades recently.

They already had a pink and peach shade (along with a clear one) which I have reviewed previously so you can read all the details, see swatches and ingredients.

I actually have both new shades and want to show them to you. They are called berry and plum, and I could not be happier with these shades, as you can imagine.

The one that is called berry is a sheer red and the plum on is a sheer Bordeaux. You can get an almost-there shade but can layer it up to get a more visible results.

I think it’s a great idea for those who are afraid of full on red or dark shades, plus it

Elemis Cellutox Active Body Oil Review

I love Elemis oils, I’ve already used up my Frangipani one completely, so was curious about the Cellutox Active Body Oil, a sample of which I received about a year ago.

I’ve started working out on a regular basis this summer so started using this oil, too.

The brand describes it as an “energising citrus body oil (so it smells really nice) that contains a powerful synergy of detoxifying Sea-buckthorn, Sea Fennel, Lemon and Juniper.” It is supposed to  help  combat the build-up of toxins caused by a poor diet, stress and a sedentary lifestyle and also help to combat cellulite and condition skin.

So how do I use it?

I warm several drops of oil in my hands and massage into thighs, buttocks and abdomen. I have just noticed that the brand suggests using it on the tops of arms, so will start doing that, too, as my arms  =  the area I have been working on very hard for months now. I apply

YSL Ombres 5 Lumieres Shadows in Bronze Gold Review and Swatches

Do you know why I am always waiting for the new collections? I hope to see the item that I want/need/MUST get for myself! I remember when I first saw YSL Fall 2010 makeup collection I instantly fell in love with the # 7 Bronze Gold Ombrés 5 Lumieres palette.

I was extremely happy when I  got it. I should have written the review long time ago because it’s already time to talk about YSL 2010 fall collection. But it’s better late than never.

So what do I love so much about these shadows

Or should I say adore? 😉

  • It’s a pure high-end item, everything about it is so elegant and luxury.
  • I got these palette because of the colours, they are amazing!

Brown – beautiful golden brown shade

Yellow – shiny yellow

Highlighter – the most amazing  shadows, shimmery golden shade ( I need a dupe)

Khaki – shimmery khaki shade

Eyeliner – matte brown shade, I use it for the bows sometime and also to line the eyes.

  • I think  these are quite unique shades for a high-end brands because there are not that many yellow shadows among luxury companies. I can think about shu uemura and Shiseido righ now.
  • This palette is perfect for
