MakeUp4All AUTUMN 2011 Online Beauty Magazine

I forgot that I’ve actually never posted about one of my favourite purchases of this year.  It was the Jo Malone Christmas Cologne set which was a present from myself for myself ;)

I’ve got Lime Basil & Mandarin, Grapefruit, Pomegranate Noir, Red Roses, Orange Blossom and Vanilla & Anise colognes, 9 ml each, for £60.

Regular (30ml) cologne retails for £36 so I think it is an awesome way to try different colognes and to have those that you don’t like that much in a small bottle just to mix it with others.

I loved pretty much all of these colognes. My favourite combination has to be Red Roses and Vanilla & Anise! I also love wearing Orange Blossom on its own.

Red Roses reminds me of the rose jam my Mum used to make when I was a child, this is definitely not a scent for everyone, some may even hate it. But I personally adore it. Vanilla & Anise is just a beautiful warm and a bit spicy scent  which is wonderful. As for

First of all I apologize for the lack of reviews and swatches. I still haven’t bought a camera. I plan on getting two cameras – one a purse friendly “simple” camera, something like Nikon S3100 or S5100 and one pro camera.

For some reason I find it so hard to choose what I want/need but I promise to get it at the end of this week/beginning of next one.

I have so many new exciting products to show you so can’t wait to get a camera. Luckily, I have some photos  I’ve taken before my camera was gone.

I don’t want this post to be completely off topic so here is a review of the soap which I’ve recently purchased  at L’Occitane.

I never use soaps because of

Since we are talking about Dolce & Gabbana today, I thought I would share my impression about their eye shadow quad in Stromboli.

The eye shadows come in a signature gold D&G packaging.

There are four wearable shades in this quad. They are: beautiful true gold, reddish warm brown, caramel warm brown and black with tiny silver shimmer. You can’t really get wrong with these eye shadows and they are perfect for an every day look.

My favourite shade is probably the reddish brown as it looks beautiful on my eyes.

The texture of the eye shadows is

My nail polish collection was growing (and it is growing now) so I though it was time to get some nice base and top coats. I’ve read a lot of raves about the Seche Vite  Fast Dry Top Coat so I though that I should get it, too.

Review and swatches of the nail polish above

I am definitely not an expert in top coats and had only two (or three?) top coats before getting this one so I am writing from my experience obviously.

So, as for myself, I absolutely loved this product because it gives the most beautiful shine to all my nail polishes and it makes them dry so much faster. Plus it doesn’t drag the nail polish which is amazing. I don’t think that my nail polish lasts longer with this top coat but that is totally ok with me as I like changing it pretty often.

You can see the difference with the nail polish with and without Seche Vite top coat on

Now this is a fabulous idea! I absolutely adore these nail polishes by Nails Inc with the Little Miss characters. I loved these books  and I would totally get all the nail polishes as they are too cute not to.

So there are four shades:

  • Little Miss Chatterbox, perfect taupe
  • Little Miss Splendid, fresh aqua
  • Little Miss Sunshine, soft peach
  • Little Miss Naughty, muted purple.

Each is £12 each and they are available from today.

So which colour do you like the best? What Miss are you?
