When a beauty product gets a cult status and make-up artist & beauty lovers rave about it – it’s a sign that one has to get that product, too.
You all know by now that I love my cream/liquid/stain/gel blushers ( is my latest wish list) and I don’t even remember when was the last time I’ve bought a powder blush. About two years ago, I think (It was Sleek, LE)?! But I just had to get Tarte’s Amazonian Clay Blush ($26 from Sephora)
It was very easy to choose a shade, as I knew straight away that I wanted Blushing Bride, which is described as plummy rose.
I love the fact that the packaging is the same shade, as the blush itself, very useful, especially when you have a lot of blushes from the same line.
And here is a close up of my beauty. As you can see it’s a pretty plummy shade with golden shimmer. Luckily, the shimmer is delicate and you don’t get it all over the face.
So what is my impression?
I am actually
I am sure that now you all know that I am a big fan of Illamasqua. But did you know that their Satin Primer(£19) and Under-Eye Concealer(£12.50) were nominated for Miracle Make-Up Awards?
I have the Satin Primer and today I will review it. I also wanted to get the Under-Eye Concealer but my shade (UC135) is out of stock right now. And if a certain product is out of stock this can be for a long time.
But back to Satin Primer (£19)
This is what is written about it:
An artist always prepares their canvas. Use under foundation or on its own for a smooth, even base that is protected from the elements. Containing UVA and UVB filters, Illamasqua Satin Primer lifts and highlights the face, creating a stunning dewy effect to enhance the siren within.
And now my thoughts!
I have a very dry skin and almost every foundation looks horrible on me if I don’t use a moisturizer before. But even this doesn’t give me a guarantee that I will have a flawless makeup. Now everything is different with this Primer. I have it since December and I am very happy with it. Here are only some reasons why:
- It has SPF 20 so it protects your skin
- The skin looks healthy and feels moisturized. It gives the most amazing dewy finish which looks super sexy!
- It is easy to apply foundation and concealer.
- I don’t have a feeling of
Today I want to show you 7 grey/silver/pewter eye shadows that I really like.
Some of them: Illamasqua , ArtDeco and Estee Lauder on the photo
So I will show you how those 7 shadows look swatched. This post is not really a review, just some swatches. But I already reviewed some of the products from this post and there is a link to the review if I have one!
I’ve also tried to choose different textures: cream shadows, powder shadows and even loose pigment.
The products that I’ve chosen are:
1. Rouge Bunny Rouge Loose Glitter Pigment Fire Drops in Night Wind Sailing, iridescent metallic pewter. You can get yours for £ 24 at zuneta.
2. ArtDeco #605 eye shadows, metallic silvery grey. You can read a detailed review here.
3. Urban Decay eye shadows in Gunmetal, gunmetal grey with silver glitter.
4. Urban Decay eye shadows in S&M, bright metallic silver
5. Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place ShadowCreme in
Since I am such a huge fan of Rimmel Kate Moss original and matte lipsticks, it was just a matter of time till I’d get one from their newest nude collection. If you follow me on Instagram, you could already see all the beauties.
There are five shades in general and I loved N45 the best, as it is a cool toned mauve-ish nude. The lipstick comes in a cool nude tube with a silver details and white Kate signature.
The formula is great, it gives a light coverage which can be layered for a more intense colour. It goes on smoothly and has a beautiful sheen. I don’t find it
