My city was very lucky and received this collection right after Christmas. I indulged in the illuminating powder (it applies more beautifully than it looks) the eye quad (top notch neutral) and two stylo yeux eyeliners in or rosé and santal. Overall the collection is of very high quality and I’ve only heard good things about the lip products. Bravo CHANEL.

This collection has been out for quite some time in the US. The new Poudre Signée de Chanel is a gorgeous highlighter. It is a delicate whitened gold with a tinge of warm pink that will flatter many different skin tones. It applies smoothly and has a subtle bit of sparkle so that it can be worn during the day without looking like you’ve been rolling around in the fairy dust :-) Signée de Chanel has become my to go-to highlighter when I want a bit of glow without making a color statement.

Raffinement is a beautiful set of rose tinged neutrals (more rosey than the promo pictures indicate) and the formula is as smooth as smooth can be. It would be a good basic addition to many a woman’s stash. I originally gave this quad a miss because I have similar shades, but when I went on a short vacation, I wanted to take the look with me in a travel friendly format so I went back for the quad. I wasn’t disappointed. It is one of those easy palettes that can be used to create various looks without a lot of effort.

      Hi Eileen,
Thank you for your well written and helpful comment. I personally prefect cream/liquid highlighters but am definitely going to take a look at the eye products from this collection.

I definitely love the makeup look on the model and the paper flower theme. I haven’t bought anything from this collection yet but I’m contemplating getting the blush and a couple nail polishes (Emprise and Fracas). I have Sable – Emouvant from last summer and I highly recommend it if you don’t have it already. I find the texture very smooth and the coloring is very easy to create an everyday look.
