After the luxury beauty gift guide, here is the opposite, the affordable option. And I’ve kept it all under £10. Most of the products I have and love, so can definitely recommend them. Only two from the list I haven’t tried but they’ve caught my attention, and I wanted to include them.
So here we go.
1. Mavala Extra Mild Nail Polish Remover, £7.86 from Amazon.
I honestly do not want to be using any other nail varnish remover after discovering this. Have used up 3 bottles already, and it’s just the best.
2. Ice Roller, £9.99 from Amazon.
I do have a pink quartz roller but nothing de-puffs the face quite like this. And it is a very nice and cooling sensation. You can see mine here.
3. Scalp Massager, from £5 from Amazon.
This is a pretty cool and inexpensive little gadget that I really enjoy using myself, and would definitely recommend. Scalp massage is one of the best things in this life, I am convinced.
4. Lanolips Rose Hand Cream Everyday, £9.99 from Cult Beauty
While I haven’t tried this hand cream, I am a big fan of lanolips, and tried a few different products from them which were all brilliant, so have high hopes when it comes to this hand cream. And I am a fan of rose beauty products, so had to share the love.
5. This Works Dream Team, £10 from Space NK
You get Stress Check Roll-on (5ml / 0.17fl.oz) and Deep Sleep Pillow Spray (5ml / 0.17fl.oz). And who does not want some anti-stress and relaxing products these days? I’ve tried tonnes of products like this and This Works are some of the best.
6. Soaper Duper sets, £10 from Boots
I am a fan of Soaper Duper, incredible performance for the price. I would recommend both sets or individual products. I really like this body scrub, in particular. That smell is divine.
7. Max Factor makeup from Boots Creme Puff Blush, £9.99
These blushes won’t be a surprise to long time readers. On top of it, a few of my friends got them after my recommendation, and are now converts, as well. As you would imagine, I have tonnes of cheek products but Alluring Rose (in the middle) is the one I always go back to, I am on my second pan.
8. The Body Shop Juicy Pear range here
Who doesn’t like the good ol’ The Body Shop? They have so many wonderful products, and, as a fan of pear scented beauty products, I’ve chosen their Christmas 2019 offerings. But you have more fragrances to choose from.
9. Essie Gel Couture Nail Polish in Rock the Runway, £9.99 from Boots
These are some of the best nail polishes I have ever tried, they last for almost a week and look glossy and opaque. I find that the formula can depend on a shade but Rock the Runway red is great quality.
10. Soap and Glory Super Cat Eye Liner, £6.50 from Boots.
I am an eye liner snob and, since I use black pen eye liner pretty much daily, I have to really love it. I think Soap and Glory Cat Eye one is the one I usually recommend when people ask me for a more affordable option, and you’ve got to love the name.
