Daniel Sandler Radiant Glow Review and Swatches

If you are a long-time reader, you probably know that I am die-hard fan of Daniel Sandler’s Watercolour Blush (these two are my favourite), so I was  excited to  receive  his newest product  a while ago – Radiant Glow Illuminating Face Powder. I love the fact that Daniel does not release 100 new products every year but when he does you can be sure that it is high quality and reasonably priced.

The newest face powder comes in a signature gold and black packaging, and the product itself consists of four shades which can be used individually or mixed together.

The shades, as described by the brand are: a bright high shimmer gold, a rich shimmery peach, a beautiful creamy white and a pale peach with a gorgeous sheen.

Below you can see how each shade looks when applied, and also how they look when mixed together.

Ways to use it:

  • As a “regular” highlighter on top of your cheekbones, above the upper lip, under the brow bone. Radiant Glow adds that warm peachy sheen, and would look incredible with a tan.
  • As eye shadows.  I personally really love this way, as the shades look incredible paired with an eye liner, bronzed eye shadows and tonnes of mascara. Or whichever look you prefer. I really press Radiant Glow into the eye lids for that full-on glow, so pretty! Don’t forget to add some in the inner corner.
  • Daniel also suggest using it lightly all over the face, as peach is know as a neutralising shade. Just remember that in this case – light application is the key.

The texture is really buttery, smooth and creamy. As for the finish, it gives just enough glow, it is not ridiculously intense  (hello Mary Lou-Manizer) but at the same time not too subtle either.  As usual, Mr. Sandler did a great job!

Radiant Glow retails for £28 which is  less than similar products from other brands.
