Davines Alchemic Shampoo in Chocolate Brunette Review. Rave
I think 2012 was a year of hair care for me, I have been going to the hair dresser regularly, bought vitamins and invested in good hair care products.
This is why you have been seeing reviews of hair products more often. And, in fact, I want to tell you about yet another shampoo today.
Although I love when my hair is very dark, almost black, I have stopped colouring it about two years ago and don’t really experiment with hair colour anymore… This is why I thought Davines Alchemic in Chocolate Brunette Shampoo would be a good option for me.
Davines is an Italian hair care brand, their Alchemic shampoo comes in four colours and enhances the colour of your hair, natural or coloured.
I absolutely adore the “pharmacy” looking bottle, the style of the bottle and the pattern on it makes me think of Great Gatsby for some reason. This product does look very cool on the bathroom shelve!
It is not the easiest shampoo to use when you have wet hair and arms, as you have to open it and wait until some product comes out of the glass bottle (you can’t squeeze it, obviously), but that doesn’t really bother me.
As for the product itself, it is wonderful!
I find that is does make the colour of my hair richer and glossier and does leave the hair in a nice condition. It is shiny and smooth, I am very pleased with the results. The scent is also lovely, at least I like it a lot.
I would recommend leaving this shampoo for several minutes on, so that the pigments can effect your hair. I’ve found that it’s the most effective way to use it.
I am also curious to try Aveda Clove range for brunettes and Phyto Gloss Treatment in Chocolate, as I’ve heard very good things about both ranges. And is there anything you love and can recommend?
I have picked up my Davines shampoo for £13.94 from Cult Beauty back in November.
By the way, if you want to try some luxury hair care, you may be tempted by this fantastic offer from Cult Beaty. I am VERY tempted but I have more than enough hair care products now…
