Dior Diorshow New Look Mascara Review and Photos

Remeber my post about the Diorshow new mascaras and eye shadow quads?

Turned out Dior team found out that I am a fan of Diorshow mascara and asked if I’d like to try out the newest one.  So here it is.

It comes in a classic Dior design which I really like…

The first thing that you notice is the small rubber brush with an interesting design which looks like a brush for the bottom lashes (those are a big thing now).

It takes time to get used to it but, in my opinion, this is a great brush as it allows a very precise application and you can get great results  from the roots of the lashes without making a mess. And it is great for lower lashes, too!

As for the general effect, I like it as well. I find that this mascara gives my lashes nice volume, length and separation but I always need several coats as my lashes are thin and short. Sigh!

I have been wearing New Look on one eye and Extase on the other for several days and was trying to see the difference myself and was also asking friends. Yes, I know, my poor friends. Looks like New Look gives more length and great  effect near the roots and Extase gives more volume but both look great! DiorShow mascaras are really amazing, definitely among my favourites.

Unfortunately, I did not use this mascara long enough to tell if  ‘as time passes, lashes are reinforced and display a thicker and thicker fringe’ but I can’t wait to see the results.

Here is a photo of the DiorShow mascaras that I’ve tried, the brushes to be precise.

DiorShow New Look, DiorShow Unlimited and DiorShow Extase.

I think Extase is still my favourite but this one is pretty amazing, too. The price is £23/$28.50.

I am sorry that there are no photos of the mascara applied, I can never take a good photo of the lashes.

Just started using this and so far I’m a big fan. I can only wear Dior mascaras because for some reason they are the only ones that don’t irritate my eyes when I wear contacts. Believe me I have tried everything!!! Last week I had to repurchase my DiorShow original which I do every three months and spotted this New Look. I decided to give it a try and my eyelashes are sooooo long looking. Went to church and got tons of comments and compliments. I can’t lie in church but so wanted to say they’re my natural lashes.
