Elemis Cellutox Active Body Oil Review
I love Elemis oils, I’ve already used up my Frangipani one completely, so was curious about the Cellutox Active Body Oil, a sample of which I received about a year ago.
I’ve started working out on a regular basis this summer so started using this oil, too.
The brand describes it as an “energising citrus body oil (so it smells really nice) that contains a powerful synergy of detoxifying Sea-buckthorn, Sea Fennel, Lemon and Juniper.” It is supposed to help combat the build-up of toxins caused by a poor diet, stress and a sedentary lifestyle and also help to combat cellulite and condition skin.
So how do I use it?
I warm several drops of oil in my hands and massage into thighs, buttocks and abdomen. I have just noticed that the brand suggests using it on the tops of arms, so will start doing that, too, as my arms = the area I have been working on very hard for months now. I apply the oil during the workout session when the body warms up.
I read several very positive reviews about this product and I think that I can see the results myself. Of course, they did not happen overnight. And they did happen not only because I was using the oil, but in combination with other factors: physical exercises,
relatively healthy food and lifestyle in general.
The skin in the mentioned areas is firmer and smoother and I think that the oil has a lot to do with that. I am especially impressed with the condition of my butt and legs!
By the way, I would also highly recommend Elemis’ Body Brush, I love it so much that I have two!
While we are on the subject, I’d like to book an anti-cellulite massage course soon. The only thing that stops me from doing it is the pain. I can tolerate pain quite well but find that it does hurt, a lot, from what I can remember. But it is very effective (the condition of the skin really improves) , so I guess, I’ll give it a go!
The price of Elemis Cellutox Active Body Oil is £32.50 for 100 ml and it will last you for ages. I’ve been using mine since summer and there is a lot left, as you can see from the photo above.
Unfortunately, I can’t find the box any more, so can’t share the ingredients.
