February Favourites when it is the end of March…It is better late than never, right?
I am still using/loving all the products which I have featured in my January favourites but there are a few other products which I have added to my routine.
Max Factor Glossfinity Nail Polish in 85 Cerise (review and swatch)
I am having a break from my gel manicures so I am re-discovering the joys of changing the nail colours every few days, and of course Cerise from Max Factor made an appearance. I am on my third bottle, and I am obsessed with this bright fiery red which looks opaque with only one coat.
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Red Carpet Red (Cult Beauty and Net A Porter.)
Great formula which can be worn as an opaque true matte (ruby) red, or as a stain by gently tapping it in with the fingers. This may sound like such a cliche but I feel so glamourous and confident whenever I am wearing it, the lipstick for dates. The formula is also nice, I do not find it to be drying.
Charlotte Tilbury Instant Eye Palette (Cult Beauty and Net A Porter.)
Another Charlotte’s product. While I am not a big fan of the packaging, I do love a few shades very much. I’ve read that some people are unimpressed with the pigmentation of a few but the ones I love are gorgeous. And I am talking about the shimmering shadows. I am a huge fan of the middle shade in the date eye section, and also really like the middle one in the disco eye range. And while I love the idea of the day/desk/date/disco I’ve been applying both date/disco shades at 7 am, and loved it.
IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Eyelift in a Tube Dual Ended Full Coverage Anti-Aging Concealer & Brightener in Light (from Selfridges and Sephora)
Long-time readers will know that I am I don’t really care about the under-eye products all that much, with a few exceptions (here and here), but I am absolutely in love with the IT Cosmetics Brightener. My friend gave me this tube, and while I don’t really use the concealer, I am dabbing on the brightener almost on a daily basis. It is light, does not enhance my dry under eye area, brightens (as the name suggests) and I would even say lifts. Such a great product!
Rose Water Sprays
I’ve been very naughty and put the rose water in my old Omorovicza Queen Of Hungary mist bottle because I can’t bear throwing it away. I am just buying whichever rose water in the pharmacies and and using them non-stop, such a great pick-me-up.
Speaking of the Omorovicza, my obsession continues, these two products are insane.
