MakeUp4All AUTUMN 2011 Online Beauty Magazine

Giveaway: Your Chance to Win Inglot Palette

Right now I am working on a Summer issue of Makeup4All Magazine. I really hope that everything turns out the way I want  but I can’t say anything yet!

So I would REALLY APPRECIATE your help. I am just asking you to answer 2 questions!

1. What did you like the best about Spring Makeup4All Magazine. Please explain.

2. What would you like to see in the Summer magazine? Please be specific and  keep it real 😉

I know that a lot of you wanted to try Inglot so one of you will get this beautiful palette.

I have the same colours and I love them. You can read the review here and see the looks here.  I made the mistake that I’ve chosen the colours myself, next time I will let you chose the colours you want ;).  But I will be sure to include something else with this palette!

Here are my answers as  an example:

1.  I really liked the interview and  2 looks created by Lisa Eldridge because she is super talanted and one of my favourite  Make-up Artists and I also liked the Blogospheric Beauty because it was interesting to read so many different opinions.

2. I would like to see brands take part in the magazine (top secret – I am working on that now), Blogospheric Beauty, some interviews of beauty insiders, articles about summer related products: tanners, bronzers, SPF.

I would be very thankful if you could tell your friends about this and take part yourself. Also if you are a blogger and want to take part  – please let me know!

The winner will be chosen next Sunday – 30.05.2010

And the winner will not be chosen randomly, I will read all the comments and explain why I’ve chosen a certain person.

1.I liked the fact that I was in it! XDD No, seriously, the product recap was a veeery good idea! There are so many products that I tend to forget about some, and this made me remember!^^
    2. An interview with Dany Sanz! LOL Noo, any other good and available artist would be good! Or! If you happen(ed) to attend a makeup show, then an article with lots of pics would be good too.

hmm I’m really not creative these days >_<
BTW, When I finish my stupid exams, I'm gonna be active again! ;D

Haha, Do you want to take part one more time? 🙂

Dany Sanz sounds great but I am not sure if that’s possible so far. But if everything goes on the way I’ve planned  it will be amazing as well! 😉

    1) I like Let’s Shop! Spring’s Best Beauty Buys. Because I like to shop, and it’s nice to see some compilations of photos of the beauty products of which I have some of them too. 🙂
I also like Bright-Eyed And Beautiful EOTD by Jacqueline because I love eye makeup, and the photos of the rainbow EOTD are so gorgeous. I could use it as a guide for my own rainbow EOTD. Besides, my daughter’s named Rainbow too!;)
Not to forget the interview with Karen from Makeup and Beauty Blog…….it’s great to get to know more about Karen.

2)Would love to see features on brands that are more localized to Europe where you are based, for example: Inglot (I got to know this brand from reading your blog!), may be Essence. May be a write-up on Inglot, a brief history of the brand, its star products and reviews of some of their products.
Of course, Summer’s Best Beauty Buys….just to feed my shopping addiction. At least, virtual shopping is not painful for the pocket. 😉

Rainbow sounds like a great name 😉
It’s an interesting idea about the brands but it’s suitable for the blog, not magazine, but I will think about it! I will make a” shopping list” for sure 😉

    1. I loved the interviews with Lisa Elridge as she is one of my fave makeup artists and with Karen and J as I love their blogs too and it was nice to learn more about them. Also, the Blogospheric Beauty section as I really enjoyd to read all the other responses and it’s really nice when bloggers come together to do something like this. And the Jacqueline’s look too as I love bright and colorful looks and she is so talented!

    2. Mmm maybe some brief reviews of products from the new summer collections. I think that’d be helpful to make people make their minds up on what’s worth getting. Or some articles about makeup and skincare in summer like how skincare routines change in summer or what kind of makeup is best to wear in the hot and humid weather.

    1. I loved an insight on life and profession of Lisa Eldridge – it’s always precious and interesting to read interviews with successful persons and beauty industry insiders. I liked looks created by Lisa and explanations how to create them. It was also interesting to read bloggers’ answers on questionnaire and sum up their opinions.

    2. More interview with such great persons as Lisa and BBB please! More actual seasonal looks and how to create them, but not in a way “apply foundation on face and lipgloss on lips”:) I will be cool to see some tips and tricks and maybe life hacks, e.g. “to creat glossy effect on eyelids mix eyeshadows with lipgloss”. Maybe more reviews on star products of the season by competent persons as well, or advises ho to use it best.

As I told you I was preparing to launch my own blog and I finally did it! Welcome! And I’ll be glad to take part in new edition of Make Up 4 All Magazine:)

I am very blessed to have such friends as Jane(BBB) and Lisa and I was very happy that they took a part in this project.

If everything goes that way I plan there will be some great people in the Summer issue as well 😉

Congrats on the blog! Should I e-mail you at annat…. ?

  5. Hi there! <3 Here are my answers! 🙂

    1. I actually liked the whole idea. 🙂 I don't buy beauty magazines because they come out monthly which means I've already seen the most stuff that's in there, and though I've seen all the collections in your magazine too, I think it is a bit different when all that comes from a person like me – someone not actually related to the beauty industry, but someone who really loves beauty and see all those pleasures in it like I do. <3 It's just a bit more personal and I love that feeling. Also, everything in the magazine shows how personal it is – from the interviews, questions for beauty bloggers to your beauty product picks. 🙂 I know it's not about PR, but in fact it's about *your* opinion when you chose all those products. 🙂

    2. I think it would be interested to read about someone who started with tutorials on blog/youtube and then ended up getting hired/employed by a certain brand (like Michelle Phan, but I'm sure there are more of them). Also, I'd like to read an interview with MissChievous – , because her tutorials are indeed amazing!

Beside interviews, I think it would be interest to read something about collections – how the brands come up with ideas, how do they choose colors and stuff like that. That's probably a lot of work – to get in touch with every brand so if not for this magazine, perhaps for an issue later. 🙂

And I think that's it for now! 🙂

    p.s. your giveaway ending-date is wrong – it should be 30.05.2010. 🙂

I am related to beauty industry in some way 😉 But you are right, I’ve included things that I like myself!

That’s a great idea about the brands and it’s not a problem to contact them but it’s a problem to get the answer. But no worries I’ve already contacted some 😉

Thank you for the date, I  really made a mistake
