Holiday: Beauty Edition

A photo of myself online, yeah, I know…

My partner and I just came back from the most incredible holiday in Cyprus last week, and I thought I’d share a few photos and some of our favourite  beauty/grooming products.

Probably the most used product was Clarins Sun Care Oil Spray [Clarins is available from Selfridges,HarrodsEscentual.com,  Nordstorm,  Sephora, Bergdorf Goodman.] just like all the other Clarins for/after sun products. I was picturing the most beautiful photos I’d take for this feature but, unfortunately, we’ve been too busy  enjoying our vacation so I did not have time to do everything that I’ve wanted.

At least I’ve managed to  snap a few beautiful views of the island.

Here is also an overview of some of the other products we had with us. I wanted to take a photo of all the after sun essentials in the sunset lights but that never happened. Besides the already mentioned Clarins after sun for face and for body (After Sun Replenishing Moisture Care for Face and Décolletéa and After Sun Moisturizer Ultra-Hydrating, I’ve been loving the Philip Kingsley Swimcap (Net a Porter) which protects the hair  from chlorine, salt water and UV rays. I actually wanted to try this OUAI Son of  a Beach spray but completely forgot to order it.

I did not really use that much makeup during our holiday or that often for that matter. But if I had to choose my three favourites they would be:

I know that Rose Glow won all sorts awards and is loved by many but I am absolutely obsessed with Bronze Glow, this is probably my most used product by Mr. Sandler and I have tonnes.  I raved about the gems that are Watercolours so many times, and there is a reason for that. Bronze Glow gives that incredible polished look, the texture is thin, easy to blend and looks very natural on the skin, a must have for a sun kissed bronze goddess vibe. Ha!

I have never tried any makeup from Smith & Cult, I only own one of their to die for beautiful nail varnish so decided to give this one a go. I love the name, the design and the product itself. It gives phenomenal lashes. I do not like natural-barely-there effect, I want those show stopping  lashes, and this product delivers. It is a bit clumpy and first but give it time, at least a week. It is intense black, long-lasting and extremely volumising.  One of the best mascaras I have ever used.

  • SMASHBOX Cover Shots Eye Shadow Duo Golden Hour (Sephora)

This was a present from a friend and, from what I understand, it is a trial size of one of their Cover Shots palettes. I forgot that I had this mini as I do not suit such shades, but I’ve noticed it when I was packing for this trip, as I knew it’d look incredible with a tan. And I was right, have been reaching for this duo every time we went out in the evenings and I am still using it.  The texture, pigmentation and the colours are divine.  Also, not gonna lie, the shades names Turned On and Psyched get big thumbs up from me.

As for  the favourite product of my man – it was Reuzel Hair Pomade, he was loving his new hair styling product. According to him, this is the best one he’d ever used, and he tried quite  a few. I have loved the way his hair looked, as well. So if you want to treat the man in your life – you may want to check this out (Amazon and Amazon UK)

Also, an honourable shout out to my favourite holiday treat which was Chocoalte Fudge Brownie ice cream.. I might have had a few tubes of Ben & Jerry’s, and at least 3 of them were these.

Look at those pastel coloured skies. Can we have another holiday, please?

PS. Now I am enjoying all my shimmering body oils and… these yellow shorts.

By the way,  feel free to follow me on Insta, as I am trying to be more diligent with posting.
