Make Up For Ever Collection for Spring 2010 Inspired by Gustav Klimt

It looks like that every collection of  Make Up For Ever is deducated to a specific colour. It was “purple” collection Ultra Violet for Fall and “blue” collection Blue Rhapsody for Holiday and now it is “golden” collection!

Dany Sanz was inpired by Gustav Klimt to create this collection! I’ve mentioned several times that I’ve studied culture and arts so  I really love this idea. Klimt is among my favourite artists plus I am always excited when the art of makeup is connected with other forms of Art. I hope that this is not the last collection inspired by an artist!

It seems to me that Dany was inspired by this painting ( it is not a fact, just my thoughts)

And here are the products from the collection

This collection includes:

  1. Gold Glitter Powder
  2. Glitter Eye Khols
  3. Diamond Glitter Powder
  1. This is a multi-purpose product that can be used for face, eyes and lips
  2. 100% pure natural mineral powder.
  3. You can use it dry and wet ways for different results

Soft pigminted khols in 2 coloursAdd sparkles to your face and body with this amazing golden powder.

Products will be available at the beginning of March.

So what do you think about this collection? I would really love to get both khols!

This collection is really beautiful, I like the golden accents. I wrote about the same collection more than a week ago but I didn’t know that you like it too 🙂

    Hi Tavia
I really like the idea that it was inspired by one of my favourite artists. I have a lot of books about art and culture and I am always very happy when something is inspired by things that I love 🙂

Well I didn’t knew that. It would have been nice to know your opinion when I posted my article, I think not many girls know where the source of inspiration is coming from. 🙂

Oooh, this is right up my alley – love exploring any connections between makeup and art! I just wish there were some kind of Klimt-inspired collectible piece with fancy embossing or something, but still, it’s refreshing when a makeup collection is directly inspired by an artist’s work. 🙂 Thanks for posting!
