Mary Kay Eye Primer: Review and Swatches

Mary Kay Eye Primer, $ 12

Here’s the perfect primer to help you create eye looks that grab attention. This waterproof formula creates a foundation so your eye colors glide on smoothly and stay perfectly in place longer – without creasing or smudging. It helps extend and intensify eye color.

This primer does exactly what it has to do! Eye shadows stay on for a long time, don’t smudge and the colour looks bright and vibrant! Check out the photo  with the eye shadows with and without primer. I used Artdeco shadows # 247. I already wrote a review about Artdeco eye shadows here.

The photo: 1. primer. 2. Artdeco eye shadows # 247 without primer 3. with primer

  1. Wow, such a huge difference between them. It’s so much vibrant with the eye primer :)

  2. Yes, the difference is great and I think it’s a wonderful products.
I like almost all Mary Kay products for eyes. And don’t like almost all their products for lips :)

  3. oh there’s such a big difference between with & without primer shots! Does this primer makes blending harder? I heard they often do. (I don’t use any eyelid primer)
And MK is a…ahem…not so good brand. Especially their truth saying ability is questionable. SO is this a decent product among the crap?

  4. Hi Mary

If you want to know something about MK, I can tell you the truth. Well, what I think about it. Maybe it won’t work for you the way it works for me. I’ve tried 90% of all their products.

Talking about their good products I like eye shadows and liners a lot. And I have about 10 :)

Yes, it’s harder to blend the colour but you can see for yourself that it looks much better and it stays on for the whole day, at least for me.

  5. Not like it’s an available brand here, but I’m curious^^
I read many bad opinions about the brand. How many lost huge sums of money, deceiving customers and sale persons both. It’s only fair to let the other side speak up too. And I’ve heard the micro-dermabrasion kit is awesome~

  6. Well, there are millions of women working for this brand and if some of theam are treating their customers like that it doesn’t mean that the brand is bad. I get my stuff from the nicest lady ever, she gives me discount and lets me try everything and gives me presents ans samples all the time.

I don’t know about that kit but Satin Hands is VERY good. I will tell you the biggest secret. I got one for my Mom when I was visiting my parents. And my Dad liked it so much that he is using it, too :D

  7. She gives samples too? for free? We have Avon here, but they are way too stingy to give anything free. but we can pay for the samples too! HAHA
Ah, that’s the other product I saw was praised!
    Aha! vain males! =DD
